Ch9 has beat it up for all it's worth, whipping up the outrage level to 11 as usual, I won't be surprised if it gets a run from Tracy Grimjaw on a A Current Affair.
These guys had spent the day together sharing blood, sweat and tears on the field but are in trouble for hanging out together afterward without any outsiders. I know they broke protocol but you have to temper that with the high level of hypocracy Covid has afforded us from our keepers. Here in Brisbane we had a 4 day lockdown but 20minutes after it ended at 6:30pm ( last night ) the cafes and pubs were packed again and Suncorp had a normal crowd today.
Stupid I know but strewth, spare us the bleeding hearts and lynch mobs.

Why didn't they just hang out in the sheds @ WIN stadium or Kogarah and roll out a BBQ and have drinks. It would have been fine then. They can then call it a bonding session which is what the Origin teams will be doing these next few days.

If there was nobody involved from the public I cannot see an issue with it apart from the fines they will get from the cops which is justified. Maybe NRL can add $10k on top so it can mean a bit more. I mean what harm can it be to the NRL for players in the bubble to mix with others in the bubble?

Does Vaughn live in the Gong or inner city? If he is outside the Gong isn't is considered Regional NSW who have different rules?

If points are deducted, then I'm clocking off and not tuning into any further games for this year. Although, the way it is shaping, we will lose all games from now anyway, so interest has faded unfortunately.

8 weeks is a f**king joke. Yeah he f**ked up and it’s effectively strike 2 but 8 weeks?? Surely 4 would have been sufficient

We / they have no choice but to accept what the NRL has thrown at them , really I think we got off rather lightly .

The next 4 weeks is not the big issue. It's the next 4 years if these same ringleaders hang around at the club.

Change the freakin culture or this will go on for some time. It's a chance for us to start afresh. Internal review, get it done.

i find that hard to believe re JDB w a 4 year contract in place..
