It will all blow over quickly.
We the fans and club are going to suffer if a few games watching of an understrength side.
The over reaction and guessing re contracts is laughable and wont happen
As many have said Vaughan is close for a 2nd offence.
I dont even think Corey will be sacked, he is going in 8 weeks anyway
1st grade playersdont fall out odf trees and we have to a full compliment of 30 by midnight on the 31 July.
If anything our club may hit them with a suspended additional fine.
I'm thinking that whatever decisions the BOD will be making, when they meet at 10.00am tomorrow, will be based on what evidence has been correctly obtained and, irrespective of the COVID protocols, why there was no intel available to anyone else within the bubble after the game against the Warriors that this "function" was going to be held at Vaughan's house.
Surely word would have gotten out about the function. It is just a man thing to "let it all out - we are going to a party". If this was the case then someone with some brains should have told them to not have the party.
The decisions reached and agreed to by the members will have significant effects on several issues such as should sackings be made and how soon, should contracts not be renewed, should we impose further stand downs and fines to show the world that we mean business, etc? But will these be something that will mean cutting off our noses to despite our faces and we come out losing a lot more than what is necessary when we ourselves could have said "Hey boys, great win against the Warriors. Because of your fightback to win, we have decided to host a BBQ at the grounds for just you players to attend and have a few drinks and a laugh and then home". I know that this is quite fanciful, but in reality it would have been a good thing in hindsight.
Anyway, whatever is the outcome of the BOD meeting we will soon find out and we will have to live with it.
I didn't realise that following the Dragons would be so up and down for my emotions. It's crazy!
