I’m surprised by this. Can’t see us competing $ wise with some of the other clubs.
Have always liked him & never understood the dogs letting him go.
If signed I’d probably expect him to be in the prop rotation with Jack being a bit better at ball playing.
Nor can I but he’s from Tathra so a move to a smallish coastal city a bit closer to home might suit him at this stage of his career.

From what we have heard in the media Su’a is a done deal - but I’m starting to have doubts considering the club has not announced that or Burgess deals yet

Finucane, best available in position. Of course we should be in for him. Come on dudes. Him or George Burgess?

And Kaide Ellis is gone! I wish him the best at Wigan, but he was a reserve grader and we never should have signed him. Make him the last!

Is it just me or were some others underwhelmed by Finucane on Wednesday. Still, would be a good get but not for overs.
Agree with you DP, Yes Finucane is a workhorse and is part of a winning culture at the Storm, but always weary when they move to another club and especially someone of his age who is after a last big paycheck that Storm probably doesn't want to provide as they will lose someone younger. I think culture is being addressed by Hook (my way or the highway as shown by some that have not been resigned), what we need is some blokes that will rip and tier and scare the opposition and for all of Finucane's qualities, I don't think he offers that and definitely not for the money that he probably wants.

I would like him in our pack , you will always get your moneys worth from him .

However I agree with what you have said Trifili , the money will be an obstacle, but perhaps also the term of the contract that he desires - 3 years may be beyond him playing at the same pace that he has shown throughout his career .

Wouldn't it be an elaborate scam, 7300 plus messages in Dragons forum but I was a Sharks supporter all along.
Lol, hate them, it annoys me that they are building nicely.
Getting ready for the Craig Fitzgibbon takeover. They will base their management of the playing squad on the Rooster's model. Good spine and solid forwards. Their juniors are pretty good so they will have years of depth.

Hopefully we will be doing the same. Hopefully!

Finucane will be wanting big overs to come here on a 3-4 yr deal
Not value for money , Id rather spend on a good solid young up and comer
I think our forwards are looking Ok for next year except hooker

I would throw that sort of money at Brandon Smith though
very versatile great player and we need a quality hooker

Not underwhelmed. he made one mistake but eats up metres and often, hits the line with gusto.
He would get our forwards rolling forward but i am like all at the right money for a prop of his skill 600-650K max a year i would pay, no prop is worth 800K ATM in my eyes, not even Haas
He will stay at Melb
