Well based off the fact if all players rumoured to be leaving do leave then our current top 30 for next year would be

1. Cody Ramsey
2. Mathew Feagai
3. Zac Lomax
4. Moses Suli
5. Mikaele Ravalawa
6. Junior Amone
7. Ben Hunt
8. Blake Lawrie
9. Jacob Liddle
10. Francis Molo
11. Billy Burns
12. Jack Bird
13. Jack De Belin
14. Moses Mbye
15.Aaron Woods
16. George Burgess
17. Tyrell Fuimaono
18. Max Feagai
19. Jaiyden Hunt
20. Michael Molo
21. Josh Kerr

That is a f**kn pathetic squad
In the forwards:
Suli is our left-center, 3

We need a new top-level prop, 8
De Belin to prop, 10
We need a like-for-like replacement for Sims, 11
Su'a is our edge-forward, 12
Bird to lock, 13
Sullivan our bench utility, 14
Burgess in the prop rotation, 15
F Lomo in the prop rotation, 16
Lawrie in the bench forward 17

So, two top-level new forwards to our pack hopefully will reduce our soft under-belle in defense and add some go-forward in attack.

Having De Belin and our new prop in the run on 17 should get us on the right foot early in the game.

Su'A and a top-level edge forward to replace Sims is the right way forward. Burns is not the answer.

If Burgess is fit, he and our new prop would be our best combination in the run-on 17.

On the bench, I have gone with F Molo, Burgess, and Lawrie. A great combination if Burgess is fully fit. De Belin can move to the edge or lock forward when required.

Braith Anasta believes there must be more to the story to explain Sloan’s lack of minutes this season.

“There has to be a relationship or communication breakdown to see Tyrell Sloan, who was one of the best coming through for his age group, to go from where he was to then where he’s been lately,” Anasta said.
“It’s tough to watch because you know he’s a hell of a lot better. But obviously there’s a lot more going on behind the scenes there.”

The problem as I see it is that he must be in the bad books with Hook. I don't think that Hook has done anything to try and get Sloan to be a better player and improve on any deficiencies. Hook I think has let Sloan wander aimlessly without giving him any clear indication what he will do with him going forward. That is the usual mindset of our coach who just doesn't have any people management.

OK so if Sloan goes to me it won't be because he is after more money, it will be for better coaching (Hook isn't the ideal coach) and better man to man approach as I don't think he will be a walk up start in any other club just yet as he still has a lot to learn and build up. It will be for more hands on and actual learning to be a better player that is not forth coming at the Dragons.

That could also apply to Sullivan and maybe a couple of other youngsters at the club.

What a load of absolute dribble. There's more fluff in this story than in my 65 year old unclean belly button. Hope Gladys Anasta had help with the story cause that way he could blame someone else for his dismal lack of intelligence.

Stuff these blokes, bottom line he had a couple of shockers, Ramsey got the spot and he is better. It’s called an apprenticeship, it’s about learning to crawl before you walk and lastly about having some respect for the opinion of those above you and listening to what they tell you. Bottom line IMO he thinks his poo doesn’t smell.
They are just bringing this up again
Most of the reported talk in the story was said and written over a month ago
I suppose Fox or Telegraph is bored being only 2 games on the weekend to talk about and no controversy

Very interesting. If true that we're after Fifita, as well as closing in on another hooker to back up Liddle and possibly McCollough. Also actively seeking Robson. It appears we've realised the opportunities in front of us for 2024 are great. I'd be pretty sceptical about signing Fifita though. Would be a great buy, but at what cost is my main concern. If we can get him down around that 650k mark it'd be a great recruitment deal, but I don't see that being accepted. We desperately need two prop forwards in my opinion before we look at bringing a high-earning second rower to the club. If we can fit fifita in after signing Leniu, another quality front rower and Robson, then this would be an amazing signing.

Sloan’s reaction to how he’s been treated this season might be a bit immature but geez he’s been royally screwed over by Griffin this year. Meanwhile most of our forward pack played like second rate park footballers all year but still kept getting picked game after game after game. If I was Sloan I’d have zero confidence that Griffin will manage him any better in 2023. I don’t blame him for looking for greener pastures.

Let Sloan go if it has to happen but by no means whatsoever should we release Sullivan. If it means upsetting or inconveniencing Hunt then so be it.

Ramsay has done enough to secure that fullback spot. Would be great to give Sloan more game time but looks like he may slip. Sullivan has to be a permanent part of the starting team in 23.

The club have to get this right.
Excuse me for saying this....but Sloan has to get it right too.

I'm no longer a fan of Griffin and I'm so disappointed with his contract extension. But seems to be the way of our club. For many seasons now, both coach and players have not been held accountable for their poor performance.

Sloan is Dufty v2 and is still very young. What is needed is for someone from the club to sit him down and explain the facts. If Soan moves to another club, you can be sure that he will have to meet the same or even higher standards to be included in the first-grade team. Dufty had a different idea and now is plying his trade in the Super League where the standard of play and expectations are lower than that in the NRL.

Ramsey went through s similar experience but his attitude towards how to make the NRL team was completely different. He improved his skills and built up his body and managed to replace Sloan who was being touted as our long term fullback.

There is still room for Sloan as the Dragon's fullback mainly because Ramsey is versatile being able to play fullback, winger, and center.

I can't believe I am saying this, but for the money I would rather Andrew for 1 year.
David's contribution is poor for his asking price.
We need go forward and also forwards willing to put in for the full 80 minutes.
it is a real concern with his involvement (or lack of) What is of concern is lets say we are lucky enough to get him then what does he do for the titans next year ...
1) if he underperforms ( again) do we say that he is going through the motions and waiting for his blockbuster years with us
2) plays out of his skin we think beauty we got a good one and then he says he doesnt want to move to the cold of nsw so wants out and old wayne is seen having a coffee with him..

Id rather throw his money towards Tapine or similar .. at least we know what we are getting

I think someone else is talking drivel.. not dribble. Your fluff is now filling my 66 year old navel. I agree 100% with Anasta's analysis. You quite obviously dont rate Tyrell Sloan.

Hey wait on Dragons4me, I hope you are not thinking that Anasta said all of what I had in my post. He said the stuff in inverted commas, I said the other which is my opinion and if you think that it is all dribble, then I take umbrage as it is what I am seeing now that it has reached this scenario with Sloan. By the way, I do dribble but it is not rubbish.
