Nico Hynes will be available also they could fill the role internally and make a play for Brandon Smith. But you are correct Duft man will definitely be an option. Should push him to have a good season, from what I’ve heard though about Ramsey’s training I wouldn’t be shocked at all to see him at 1 for us by seasons end.

I’m more of a Ramsey fan. But happy to give Dufty a month or so under a proper coach before I call for his head.

Yeah he improved dramatically under Flanno last year but still has yet to solve the issues we that really hold him back from being a finals standard fullback in particular his contesting of kicks. His defence isn’t as bad as people on here think imo but the letting balls bounce or dropping bombs needs to be fixed. If Hook can help him sort these issues out we have a player on our hands but Ramsey is hot on his heels.

While they have been linked to contracted Bronco Andrew McCullough, the Dragons have also made discreet inquiries about Peats, with just 30 places remaining on NRL squad rosters for the 2021 season.

The point I was making was that if RTS leaves for Union the Warriors might make a play for Dufty so the decision might be taken out of our hands. Brown has an established penchant for Dragon players.

And the point I’m making is it might be mutually beneficial for both parties if it does happen but I will give Dufty and all our players a chance under Hook.

I would have thought that if Cam McInnes was deficient in some area of his game then the coaches would work with him to overcome those deficiencies because from where I sit he has a lot of good skills to build on and a shipload of enthusiasm. If Hook recruits Andrew McCullough that's a bloody big and brave call. If it fails and we also lose Cam the fans will not be kind you can bet on that.

Assuming that this rumour is true (surely it isn’t) and Cam has said he wants to play 9, and he is clearly an 80 minute hooker, surely the only reason you would buy Macca is because Cam is leaving. The coaches have said he has only trained at 9 too. Who was touted play 13 before all this?
