FWIW everyone said the same things about Barber when he was at the Bronco’s. They had taken a fullback from Bulldogs, tried turning him into a 5/8. Bulked him up, which stuffed his speed and somehow were annoyed when it didn’t work.

Sharks got him, trimmed him back to his previous playing weight and focussed on his speed.

not a good human obviously but a great footy player.

Milf needs to be trimmed and focus on where he was his best. Fullback

Agree with the comments about preferring to keep Duffy over Milford ( they must be joking ) also Johnston over Norman - anyone other than Norman would be better , but I do hope they do not pay too much for him .

Once again this shows the extent of the damage to our salary cap ( from previous years ) that we can not go after players whom are of true quality and younger .

I don’t see what Milford has that Dufty doesn’t other than a kicking game. Everything else Dufty has Milf covered. Would have to think both want similar $$ sounds like Dufty just wanted to stay with us so probably even less $$ than Milford.

I'm still lost to see where the Milford rumour has "got legs" other than on this forum. I believe it was mentioned a fair while ago now on one of the news sites, but really nothing since. You'd think with his poor form and being "dropped" again, we'd be all over it..............just crickets.
Maybe it was always just about the fact Hook seemed to be interested in bringing in former players he'd coached previously.

Not saying for 1 min it may not happen, but, I sense it to be very unlikely.

According to the Bible , er I mean the Daily Telegraph , he is in the process of sueing the QRL for not registering , or not considering to register his contract with the 2nd Division club .

To make matters worse - if that is possible , Catalan Dragons have made a statement declaring that he is still under contract to them and are awaiting his return .

Under those circumstances NRL Dragons would need to have rocks in their heads to even consider signing him ( after 1 failed attempt previously ) , let alone say his name is case the bloke decides to sue them .

Not the most gifted footballer, but 110% effort player. Had a very serious neck injury a couple of seasons ago but worked hard to come back.

Door now opens for a few of our up and comers to move into the NRL squad.

I'm expecting a few more will announce they will be on the search for clubs over the coming weeks.
