Misleading headline, story just states that he won't be offered a contract next year.Very interesting news just come out stating that Anthony Milford has been released effective immediately by Brisbane
This is a suprise and I would think that he has been released to join another club this yr
I pray that it is not us lol
You know the answer to that question. How come you basically never hear of players signing with the storm until they've signed them. They just eye off a player and ink them just as fast.
Clubs with weaker systems have to wrestle for every last morsel that comes on the market.
Pass from me, I don’t think he’d fit our culture. He’s a good player on his day but he’s very inconsistent & that’s not what we are looking for
Real test case will be Hynes when he goes to Sharks. Played well last night but there was something ponderous about him that perhaps is being covered up by being in this team. Being very hard on him i know but always think of Nelson who even played SOO whilst at Melbourne but when he came to us was reserve grade standard. You know the answer to that question.
The Storm are the best club in the competition by a mile. They have been consistently at the top for two decades.
If you sign with the Storm you play with the best and you win comps.
If offered a contract you’d consider it for about 3 minutes then pack your bags.
That’s why.
Hook and DeBelin will get him firing. A backrow of JDB, TPJ and Sims is pretty solid. With the winner of Ford and Burns to take Sims spot when he retires.Pass from me, I don’t think he’d fit our culture. He’s a good player on his day but he’s very inconsistent & that’s not what we are looking for
If you were a smart player, with a competitive nature. Would you put your feelers out and jump at the chance to play for a team that hasn't won anything for years? Or would you wait as long as possible for a team that has won something recently, and jump at the chance to play for them? How come you basically never hear of players signing with the storm until they've signed them. I agree, I think TPJ is probably worth the risk. The only change I would make is that I would have Fui ahead of Ford or Burns. I think Fui has a lot of development left in him.Hook and DeBelin will get him firing. A backrow of JDB, TPJ and Sims is pretty solid. 1 Fui, 2 Burns, 3 Ford, I don't know where Kerr plays next season.I agree, I think TPJ is probably worth the risk. The only change I would make is that I would have Fui ahead of Ford or Burns. I think Fui has a lot of development left in him.
And you get to live in Melbourne whoopee. Sth Coast far better I'd imagine but I live on Nth Coast NSW.
Melbourne's a pretty excellent city and if you're under thirty it's the best in Australia.I suppose that the best thing about living in Melbourne is that you are only a hop-step and boat ride from good old Tassie .
Sorry, never liked Melbourne.Melbourne's a pretty excellent city and if you're under thirty it's the best in Australia.
Prop rotation ?1 Fui, 2 Burns, 3 Ford, I don't know where Kerr plays next season.

He who hesitates misses out in the case if TPJIf you were a smart player, with a competitive nature. If I were a Dragons supporting rugby league player, and both the Storm and the Dragons came in for me, I know where I would be going as a competitive Rugby League professional
That’s because he’s been at the Warriors for a couple of years before they offloaded himReal test case will be Hynes when he goes to Sharks.
