Sad to hear that Carr is probably going to move to the Tigers.

I really enjoyed his short tenure and felt that he was dealt a crap hand taking over. He seems like a passionate and decent bloke.

His win ratio will look awful, but that's deceiving. He had fighting us till the end in most games and he cant polish some of the turds we have.

Should he move on as is suggested, I wish him all the best. His measured dismantling of refs in his post game pressers were pure gold.
Agree wholeheartedly with your post.

If he does go I think we will be the poorer for it especially media wise where he has shown great competency.

I wonder if the loss of Carr has had an effect on Parra this year? They replaced him with Barrett I think.
They certainly aren’t playing as well as last year

Ennis has a chance to be an assistant to the coach that was part of his only GF victory and probably greatest football moment, against another who is a rookie on his second team after his first job was a complete disaster. Hmm, seems like an easy choice for me.

Saints getting some serious people in the coaching ranks as Carr or Ennis would be great choices. If Carr is being offered a 3 year deal at the Tigers, I can see why he would jump ship. Why stay at Saints for 1 year and hope to get an extension. He has done an awesome job Carr and it will be sad to see him go. Finally a coach that has some character, passion and sticks up for the boys when they get screwed by the refs. If only Saints got his in much earlier this season. Saints would be higher up on the ladder.

John Morris being axed may come into contention for a spot as well being another ex-Flanno mate in the coaches box.

If anyone has been following the English Super League, Moses Mbye is absolutely killing it at St Helens. Good to see. He may not have been popular with the Saints fans but you cannot fault the guys effort. I hope he finds success in England.

I just realised the thread I am posting to. It is no rumour. Check out the next game St Helens play on the weekend. He is an absolute star for the team that was struggling most of the season and has now managed to string some wins together and climb up to 3rd.

Good on you Moses. He will do it for another Saints club instead of the RedV. Because of his versatility, he will shine overall for St Helens.

We need experienced coaches, not more media loving ex-players with zero coaching ability. Ennis was an ill-disciplined journeyman player (I think he's near the top in "most penalties" ever). If you want a current comparison you need go no further than Jack Bird, same emotional, cranky, selfish "me first" type player. He played a few Origins but never got a Green and Gold jersey. Let's move forward not back.
