Reliable poster on the Dragons Forever site saying to has spoken to Cody Ramsay's mum and Cody is doing well and hoping for a comeback in 2024.
I can only hope this news turns out to be true as Cody sure deserves a change in fortune after what he has been through in more recent times.
Doing well , one thing
comeback next year minimal chance I would imagine after what he has gone through
i don’t know but sounds like has had surgeries which may not be compatible with a high impact sport and also would have lost a shit load of muscle bulk and size , he will struggle I suspect , but I don’t know the full story TBH

he might be a nice guy etc etc but the club can’t really keep him on the books at the clubs detriment hoping for the best
it’s also why we should have rid ourself of JDB if that was feasible as well

Could easily be the face of our club in the near future. Hope like anything this is true.

Stuff him. Until we get a descent player in return he can put up with the shit the supporters had to put up with, maybe he might not be sought as much as he thinks
Totally agree , I cannot help but think that his golden ship has already sailed of into the sunset .

Just which club is willing to part with a large chunk of cash to sign him , more so now that the semis have begun ?

Webb spoke about *Ramsey on the propogandacast, the club are speaking with the NRL again.. they want to offer him long term security in terms of his football future.. , but obviously without taking up a cap spot in the meantime.. basically they want to take the timer off his recovery so there is no deadline for him.. but in saying that i think its also to reclaim some of his cash for 2024 which we cant spend..

Webb mentioned he just had his last surgery, so in theory he is now recovering and then he can see if he can still put muscle/weight back on, get his fitness etc etc.. seems like a rly long process still, even best case scenario.

Our record on these links to big name signings is abyssmal, they never eventuate. This one though is exactly what we need, a big powerful, good defensively, 2nd row partner for Su'a. We need to land this one and a big prop.
Yup.. we have gone after everyone with a pulse, and really 1 name to show for it.. so it would be silly too get excited...

Shane even said we missed a number of utilities before ending up with KFlanagan (no prizes for who signed all those utilities, but it amazes me we missed ALL of them given they will hard a hard time getting a 1st grade spot at the dogs), hell we have had multiple goes at Taffe and Averillo .. under Hook and Flanno.. and signed neither of them..

I suspect we will stop being Mr Nice Guy from here on out.. it hasn't worked due to the market being broken with cap increases... we are going to have to 'think outside the box' to source some guys in contract.. and if we fail that it'll be 2025... as always though.. if we can land 1 or 2 more.. things are different.. and gee it would be nice if BHunt could help in that process.

My son had the same disease and needed to have his whole bowel removed then reconstructive surgery to make a somewhat normal exit system so no bag required after. I very much doubt high impact sport would be realistic if Cody has anything similar done. Good luck to him though, he has been missed

A line in there about Hunt going to attempt to ask for another release next year around Origin period. Flanno has pretty much bought himself some time to find a replacement. Sounds like he won’t entertain a release for Hunt until we get someone first.
Our gross dislike for this man is now fully justified. Has proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that he is disloyal to a club that took him in when his club didnt want him, paid him an obscene amount of money and gave him the security blanket of a six year contract. He must've then figured that he was suddenly in seventh heaven with angels lining up to grant him his every wish.

Holmes said it was a prank gone wrong, but perhaps this is his way of getting out of that cowboys contract so he can join his mate Deano here next year. I'm in..
Hell of a way to do it Rev, why not simply ask for a release regardless if you are on contract, and tell them the weather is far too hot up there, seems like the in thing to do these days !!!

Q: I saw an article in the paper yesterday about PVL chasing Govt money for Shark Park. In it he spruiks that he already got $140m for SGI….

But, the Govt portion of the SGI Centre of Excellence is $40m. What’s going on?

After reading that last article regarding Hunt, how can he possibly be captain next season? What an absolute disgrace if they appoint a guy who is hanging to get out of the place for a guy who would cherish that opportunity like Lawrie, or Lomax. It should be a no brainer who should be captain next season and who definitely should not be captain.

The only reasoning I can think for his comments especially when he mentions that he will be around for pre-season training is that he expects new signings to bolster the club by pre-season and not mid next season. If there is no change he will definitely be pushing to leave.
