Great move for him going from Bulldogs to Panthers, quite the upgrade!!
Damn, I was hoping we'd land him. But that's a smarter choice for him and a sharp piece of recruitment by the Panthers. BastardsAlamoti to the Panthers, someone in that backline might have to go. Taylan May?
Thanks GS- Hope springs eternal and all that and you obviously have a CI (as they say in Chicago PD) in the club for the advice you have given. Agree totally about Flanno-he seems to have incredible energy and ever the opportunist (still expecting a few eagle feathers to be floating down to the Gong.) My concern is with the average front office worthies who might be a handbrake on our all-action coach.@Dragon David ...give the Hunt stuff a rest for now ( flanno knows what he is doing...;-) ... There is a lot happening behind the scenes...
Hunt is the least of our problems... the squad will look very different in 25.... and next year as well...
Watch this space.
thanx for your insights smarty, lets play the waiting game , hopefully your intel is correct and we get a couple of decent signings for 24 with a further clean out and massive upgrades for 25I don't disagree with you....but there is more to it...I will leave it at that...
If you were Alamoti and you had the Panthers and Dragons chasing you , where would you go ??Damn, I was hoping we'd land him. But that's a smarter choice for him and a sharp piece of recruitment by the Panthers. Bastards
I've watched plenty of Alamoti this yearIf you were Alamoti and you had the Panthers and Dragons chasing you , where would you go ??
Agree ST, but I'm willing to bet that his average becomes way better at the Panthers.I've watched plenty of Alamoti this year
Average at best
Cheap pick up and will do ok at Panthers
Not what we need
Still hoping we pick up Billy Smith from the Roosters.Agree ST, but I'm willing to bet that his average becomes way better at the Panthers.

I dont think it was until 2025, but would love to have him for next year, oh well beggars cant be choosersKeaon would be a good pickup, hopefully Sele can have a word to him for us.. He is only 25 best years ahead of him. Alot of player movement will happen after the grand final, its going to be a crazy offseason.
Are other players having these same thoughts as it has been happening to us for some time now? Are players like this guy Alamoti not being chased by our people because there are better fish in the gulf stream of league nations to sign up? Or do we just not have scouts or talent spotters good enough to judge if they are worth signing? If you were Alamoti and you had the Panthers and Dragons chasing you , where would you go ??
I know how you are feeling Dave, it seems like a very long time since the Dragons signed anyone of note, I guess we just have to put our faith in @getsmarty and Flanno and hope like hell there are moves afoot. Are other players having these same thoughts as it has been happening to us for some time now? We have signed two already and I am hoping that they set the neon lights blazing under our new coaching guys but we really need a couple of top shelf players to compliment our team and as time goes by, which it is very quickly, what guys will be left that we need and what of those really want to wear the RedV jersey and really want to play hard and tough for us?
If our club was truly run properly we could be a success. If we could not do this in the past 11 years, what is the difference now to then?
Well he's got my #1 jersey already...Reliable poster on the Dragons Forever site saying to has spoken to Cody Ramsay's mum and Cody is doing well and hoping for a comeback in 2024.
I can only hope this news turns out to be true as Cody sure deserves a change in fortune after what he has been through in more recent times.
If it is anything like my sister had, that is, intestinal tumour that required her complete stomach organs removed which left her with 15% pancreas, 12'' of intestines only & various other digestive issues, he can return under medication to assist in slowing his digestive organs to allow him to maintain & possibly increase body mass.Doing well , one thing
comeback next year minimal chance I would imagine after what he has gone through
i don’t know but sounds like has had surgeries which may not be compatible with a high impact sport and also would have lost a shit load of muscle bulk and size , he will struggle I suspect , but I don’t know the full story TBH
he might be a nice guy etc etc but the club can’t really keep him on the books at the clubs detriment hoping for the best
it’s also why we should have rid ourself of JDB if that was feasible as well
All the very best to your sister dragon thomo. Be strong and keep your belief for her to be better.Thank you Slippery, my wife has just been diagnosed with stomack cancer which has spread. We are believing in healing and i will let her know off your sisters courages fight . Bless you mate.
