Criticise Ryles etc all you like, however - welcome to the world of Ayoub/Gutho negotiations, as soon as they don’t get what they want - leak comments to the press and use that as a influence to pressure the club.

The Eels have seen it at the last 2 Gutho extensions and are happy that Ayoub is doing it elsewhere, he is what you could suggest was difficult and slimy.

I was one of those who issued a DW apology a few weeks after he said that.. seemed like one of the usual journos with an A+B=Z made up headline, but when Parra rly were talking about moving him on, I realised there was clearly some truth in it.. it was just whether we could pull it off.

The Gutho camp maybe worried about the medical hence the pressure to get it done asap. Saint should take their time on this. If there is someone to blame Gutho it is the Eels for playing you whilst you were busted, and then booting you out after doing so, hence potentially ruining your career. I just find it a bit rich coming onto another Clubs forum and dishing out on a player whom has served you for nearly a decade. Sounds to me you're upset at his manager which is fine, but trashing Gutho himself makes no sense. I have never heard him say he didn't want to play for the Eels, or that he wanted to be elsewhere. You know who did ? Our Captain Ben (c)Hunt.

Like i said it's a free forum and you can post what you wish, but surely you know that the tone you are taking is going to lead to pushback.

WOW!!!! And what has Parra done since August to make you think that Parra won't get the spoon . Signed a rookie coach and some filler players. Lomax isn't going to be the messiah. A lot of people have soured on Lomax because we put in a lot of time supporting him for years with very little return.

Finally, this year, we see what everyone saw in him from the start. The gifted one...

Only for him to agitate for a release... And be super passive aggressive since leaving. Being stoked that his time at the dragons is done. Saying Michael Maguire is the best coach he has had even though without Flanno, he is nowhere near NSW or Aus jerseys, backing Hunt and his bullshit dragging this club we all love through the mud.

I honestly hope he fails wherever he goes. No injuries or anything. But no premierships. Plays centre and loses his wing rep jumpers.

Not that he is / was homesick as he may well end up in Sydney mate. Also, unlike Clint, it wasn't a manager that went public, it was Hunt himself during Origin camp. We are not going to agree mate, but the difference for me is that our highest paid player and Captain has been agitating to get out of our Club for 18 months. The media circus surrounding Hunt has been ongoing for 2 seasons. Had he approached the Club and negotiated an exit suitable then I would respect him. He went public to force our hand and we called his bluff second time around.
