At the end of the day u are all having ago at me regarding Gutherson and shitty contract negotiations, yet u are absolutely tearing lomax to shreds, no doubt he has some dickhead in him, but it really sour grapes on ur part, because he has been sensational this year, so don’t bitch about the Kings treatment as u guys are far far worse regarding Lomax!!!!
The last time i checked mate we are doing it on our own forum. So dont come on here telling us how we are supposed to feel.

No, I think he was conceived behind the "Old" Grand Stand, while they were burning it down.
They were the days that the Eels had a relatively decent team . Big Bob O’Riley , Ronnie Lynch and the great Thornett brothers , Ken and Dick , plus their little half Ivor Lingard.

They had quite a good forward pack also , however their Achilles heel was the lack of quality back - ups , although Parramatta did have a good young forward in Campbell cannot recall his Christian name .

And the Cumberland Oval itself was a good ground to play on ( we use to have our league games there for Cumberland High School ) also gave a fine view for the spectators .

Damn shame they burnt it down , but then again I suppose that at least they left the pool next door in one piece , spent many a happy day there over the summers of my youth .

Still the community leaders had the wits about them to lobby the powers to be to build the massive stadium which is a world class venue . Shame we could not do similar , it would provide the Dragons with state of the art facilities and could possibly be a venue for representative matches - a big plus for the people of the South Coast .

Lomax will be a good signing for Parra.
Gutho will be a good signing for Dragons.
Everyone wins.
Yeah but at this point in time, Lomax has signed and Gutho hasn't. I'll be happy if he does (on mutually agreed terms) and move on if he doesn't (on mutually agreed terms). All I do know is it Flanno's at least out there swinging in the marketplace and we've had enough of the players who 1) don't want to be here and 2) on my terms only.

Latest thing I read was Leeds have confirmed he does have a NRL get out clause in his contract but it has an activation date that has already past so they wont release him.
Yeah I heard that also clauses don’t mean anything we all know that. If he agitates it will happen

Former Broncos and Storm halfback Brodie Croft is reportedly the new favourite to replace Ben Hunt at the St George Illawarra Dragons.

WWOS’ The Mole reported Croft is now the firm favourite to take over Ben Hunt’s Dragons halfback jersey, with his management trying to get him out of his contract with English club Leeds.

The 27-year-old is a former Man of Steel as the Super League’s best player, but hasn’t played in the NRL since 2021 with Brisbane.

Croft is reportedly keen to return home and would be the best fit of the halves available to the Dragons currently.

Other players on a Dragons hit list include Bevan French, Sharks halfback Daniel Atkinson, out-of-favour Souths youngster Lachlan Ilias and Tigers five-eighth Adam Doueihi.

Dragons coach Shane Flanagan is meeting with his assistant Dean Young this week to assess the options.

WWOS’ sources suggest the Dragons are leaning towards Croft, who struggled when tossed into the NRL as a teenager in 2016 but has come of age in England and developed into a quality halfback.

Croft scored 14 tries in 65 NRL games for the Storm and Broncos from 2016 to 2021, while he has scored 20 tries in 81 games for Salford and Leeds in the Super League.
