JDB's tackling technique is sublime. I wouldn't be able to move for a month if I copped one. Just leave me where he hits me come rain hail or sunshine! He has a nice offload and his last second rake of the ball from Adam Reynolds hands in the dying seconds last week snuffed out any chance of a Broncs comeback. The look of "What da feck was that?" on Walker's face was hilarious! He's having a good year so far and warrants an extension in my opinion.
No-one leads the dressing room anthem as passionately after a win like JDB either.

No one cuts them in half like Jack does.

did he not have a deal on the table? I ask that qestion because i don't know the explicit detals but I thougt the deal was done prior to the medical which we all know is a huge oversight on the saints football department.
Depends if the deal terms were subject to passing a medical.

Doesn't Cody Walker play for Souths but he is out injured? Not sure who you mean Dragons4me?

We need JDB at the club, at least for another season. Without him, we don't have a leader for our middles. Although Su'a is an excellent player, he's an edge backrower. Playing in the middle of the field is a different ball game altogether and is incredibly intense. Jack lives for it. Give him another season I reckon, and then let Toby step up and be the leader for the middles from there on out because he's proven that he's more than capable of being that guy.

JDB re-signing is an absolute no brainer. I really believe he is good for another 2 years.
The Lawson re-signing was automatic - triggered if and when he made his first grade debut. This explains why they took their time giving him a start. They have seen enough to know he could develop into a very special player.
Things starting to fall into place. We just really need an Alpha male front rower and a player who can kick in general play.

JDB has been the heart and soul of our pack forever and what makes his contribution even more amazing is that he has been a lone "enforcer" most seasons. He has been the only one that the opposition fear as he is an assassin defender. I can't think of another forward that has helped Jack with this role. Most of the top 4 teams have 2 or 3 in their packs. JDB IS A MUST SIGN.
