Was hoping we would go after Fuller.. shame we didnt get him ahead of Round 1 though.. given we have already blown up our season now.. but its an injection of pace and he is more desperate in defence.. 2yrs maybe.. problem is he can only rly play fullback so there is some risk.. but honestly there is risk no matter what we do, and doing nothing is what got us here.

i think youll find flanno has got about 14 players in the squad ( not juniours) he wanted guler sele kerr 3 reserve graders at best . then add lawrie and sloan on top . gutho and val 1 more year each a scary thought .
a new coach will once again be stuck in a rebuilding phase BUT we need to be ruthless with signings and go after a top centre and winger and give loko a chance at prop . sami is nothing great but a much better player than what we currently have , i dont know how we get out of this mess yet again

Yes, we need a new coach, and so, let him choose his assistant coaches. We also need new fitness staff.

Then we need to concentrate on haveing a good quick spine.
1. Fuller or Bula
6. Atkinson
7. Reed
9. Liddle and a quick young hoooker

Yep Flanagan has either signed or resigned each player in the current top 30, this is his squad, he is reaping what he sewed.

Addin F Blake, Tom Dearden, Helium Luki, Blaise Talagi, Connor Tracey, Corey Horsburgh, Josh Ado Carr.

Got stuck with players already there but added Kyle Flanagan, Damien Cook, Gutho, Val Homes, KK coming from Souths and apparently Sami 2027.

Apparently chased very hard with big $$$ on Talagi, AFB. Alas, no one wants to come except older players past their prime.

An aging Cook is the only one at the moment showing he can do something similar, even after tackling himself to a standstill. That's actually unfair on him and am feeling for him a little. Meanwhile Gutherson can't even keep up with Leilua to score a certain try in support. That's on Mr Flanagan.

he’s f**king tried to sign a lot of people but none have come off. Because nooonee wants to play for a basket case of a club since 2012!! So yes he’s stuck with a squad that has to be re signed because no one wants to come .

He’s tried to go after top Centers & halves (douhei) also forwards AFB.
This issue is NO ONE WANTS TO PLAY FOR OUR BASKET CASE CLUB.

These are good points. Well run clubs have consistent performance. Surely by now, everyone has recognised that is the issue more so than the coach. A lot of us thought Flanagan was on a hiding to nothing when he signed with us. Sacking Flanagan fixes nothing.
