The run home

5th or 6th is a realistic possibility , but we'll have to win all 3 remaining.

Cowboys and broncos don't have an easy run home at all , plus their form is terrible. Would love to be able to play them in Sydney instead of Queensland.

We really don't want it to come down to the Manly game. DCE is finally coming good

I agree. While the Sea Eagles have nothing to play for other than pride, they remain dangerous opponents and I am sure coach Barrett would love nothing more than to get the two points against his former employers.

Titans worry me the most. A well coached side with plenty to play for plus Hayne will have another game under his belt.

Yeah looked like a race in 4 for most of the year but now it seems anyone that can put a run together at the end is a chance. We are improving but i think we have too many fundamental problems to go deep. Stringing 3 wins together would be a great start though..

Doing the NRL Ladder Predictor:
PEN - TIG (W) GLD (L) MAN (W) - 30 PTS
BRI - DOG (L) MEL (L) ROO (L) - 28 PTS (Could very easily win both Dogs and Roosters games, just feel Dogs this week and the Chooks to end the season on a big high)
GLD - KNI (W) PEN (W) COW (L) - 29 PTS
TIG - PEN (L) WAR (L) CAN (L) - 24 PTS
WAR - COW (L) TIG (W) PAR (L) - 26 PTS (Warriors always choke last round with something on the line)

Off that: Penrith 6th Titans 7th Brisbane 8th Warriors 9th Tigers 10th, Brisbane still a good, probably more likely chance of snagging a home final if they win at least 2 games.

We might win 2 more games. We are certainly capable. But Broncos will not lose the next 3 unfortunately.

I think they win over Storm and Roosters.

Penrith 6th Titans 7th

Such a final would present a good case for the NRL reserving the right to play home ground finals (at Penrith, Brookvale or Cronulla) in the first week if considered appropriate. This would get a bigger crowd at Penrith than Homebush.

If we miss the top eight given the way things stand at present it will surely be a disaster.

We don't have any easy games, there are no easy games in the NRL.

But given we have two games at home against sides who will have key players missing we should expect to win both of these games, no question.

The Titans game will obviously be a tough one but again if we want to be competitive in the finals series then we should expect nothing less than a very good performance.

Assuming we get the job done and finish in the eight I don't think the final position really matters given we will have to beat whomever, most likely an away game against the Broncos or Cowboys.

We are good enough at our best. The question is we haven't really delivered our best in 2016. We have performed at 60%, 70% and occasionally 80% of what we are capable off but we have not yet delivered a performance say equivalent of what the Raiders did to the Storm last night.

Coming finals time if everything clicks and we play to 100% of what we are capable off then watch out we could be smokies for the Premiership.
