We will have to wait and see. But a late bloomer, who had injuries, why not? He made his first rep side, and has been outplaying his pansy overpaid team-mates.

Wasnt he born in 82? so he'll be 27 this year. Morrison wasnt young when he came here, i think we'll get good value from the shack.

there is still a place for late bloomers in the NRL, atleast shacklton is a matured adult. we dont need to wait for him to physically mature such as mannah and latimore.

Congrats on signing Shack. He's rated highly by most of us supporters. I'd say he would of had his breakout season last year if not for his injury to his bicep that cost him all but a couple of games for us. But injuries seem to be behind him and has been one our best forward along with Nate Myles this season.

Solid signing and the word promising is apt for him due to his previous injuries and limited starts over the last 4 years at the Roosters. Hope he develops from here into a more consistent runner of the ball and lifts his tackles in a game to justify the faith that Parra have shown in him. In saying that welcome aboard Shak, may your time with us be the greatest and most rewarding experience of your career.

While on signings and rumors I also was told by a friend a couple of days ago that the Shak was putting the finishing touches on a contract with Parra, but was loathed to put it out there in case it was just more goss and totally deflating if proven wrong. But since the first part of his inside scoop was right, I'll mention the second part now.

Apparently Nate Miles is heading to the Cowboys. ;-)

Sucked in Cowboys!

On Shacks tackle rate and ball-running; he's the second top tackler for the Roosters this season, and he's making 83 meters per contest on 11 runs (that's not terrible for a backrower) - plus he's got more tackle breaks than ANY of our forwards except FuiFui and Mannah.
All in only 54 minutes per game.
