Optimistic take …obviously I would like to see it happen …

This must be my 5th or 6th go around on the Broadcasting deal whilst posting here, and each time we have overestimated how much they would get …so I’m gunna believe it when I see it this time ..

Better ratings doesn’t necessarily mean more money is one lesson I’ve learned …. They have the opportunity to show plenty more ads than NRL does .

I think the NRL community will give PVL, Abdo and the commission credit if they sign off on a tv rights deal that is rightfully comparable to the AFL, and not way unders.

I love PVL, but I agree with this. The biggest sporting broadcast deal in Australian history is the only piece missing in his legacy and he's publicly set the expectation. If he fails, that is what he'll be judged on. If he succeeds, on top of everything else he's done, make him an imortal immediately
