When a bloke like Wicks who hasn't played for 5 years exposes our pillow for what he is then you can come to the conclusion that he is an overpaid, overrated hack.

This!

He gets 14 metres from 4 kick offs a game and still finishes with 90 odd metres. He looks unfit, after every hit up its hands on haunches. He offers no subtlety , no footwork, no show of the ball , short pass ,offload...he's basically straight up and down and trys his hardest to win the tackle but the end result is a lot of effort for little reward.

In defence whenever he makes a tackles there's easy ruck metres as his lateral speed seems to get worse every week. Seriously there'd be 3 or 4 front rowers in most clubs better than him which is a shame because he gives all he has.

Can't believe Mannah is getting shit put of him. He made nearby 200 metres (take 20 metres of him as it doesnt count as he may have take a run from the kick off) and 36 tackles. What else is a front rower meant to do?

And it wasn't a lose carry, he had total control of the ball - it was taken out of his hands while he was tackled from behind - it was a steal 9 times out of 10!

I thought Mannah was one of our best today.

Ditto.

I liked the way Mannah dove at loose balls and hit with some aggression.

No matter what forward made what metres, our attacking or metres aren't our main problem - we made 100m then thr warriors yet completed at 60%. It's stupid errors that cost us.

Mannah should be in our top 4 prop rotation, IMO. How he didn't get a penalty for a blatant strip is beyond me.

Our lack of depth in the backs is really hurting us, if Robinson had to play injured it just shows how poor our backup options are.

We have some depth, ba basically gambled on a partly injured player and lost

Sandow at fb
Or
Hoppa fb with Morgan centres and folau or burrita or toutai on wing

Apparently Robinson has had the same injury since Round 2.

On Mannah, I think he would definitely be a top 4 rotation front row in every club. But would he be the Captain and forward leader at any other club? I think until we have that front row forward leader that is better than anything we currently have then we will not get any better.

I would just like to add

Ryan Morgan
Darcy Lussick
Luke Kelly

and give another nomination and the all time worst player to ever grace the halves for our beloved club, the one and only, the undisputed champion of ineptness, the master of disaster, the king of no sting:

3 of them are here next year and two have just been re-signed. Got to love our recruitment and retention. But but but but but cheap depth.......

Its funny there was an article about Joseph Paulo and he said how getting dropped has made him more determined. If anything its made him worse.

I'd rather have Ben Roberts back than have Joseph Paulo.

And there's no f**king way I want Ben Roberts back.

Upping determination doesn't exactly raise the levels of skill, strength or footy smarts obviously.

We are still going this same discussion next year - its like groundhog year.

I can't see anything changes while these plodders are around - yes they are depth, but FMD, how many games have they played this year for Parra and yet lack, decent passing and kicking skills?

I think what you're trying to say is that you wish we didn't have a dozen players out injured right now.

Oh well - things are looking up -

We have no kicking game
No goal kicker
No halves pairing
No on-field organiser
No fit centres

Yep - all looking good for the next 5 games.
