You are giving him an ultimatum. You're saying unless Smith wins the comp this year then he should be sacked.

And when am I jumping for joy when we get hammered? I'm doing nothing of the sort. We all want to see Parramatta successful, but continually bagging the coach is not going to achieve anything.

If enough of us do it for long enough, it might get him sacked. ;-)

Suity

Or it may just strengthen Fitzy's resolve to keep him... ;-)

And therein lies the OTHER half of the problem.
I'm extremely concerned if he is happy with our last three years performances. He must be to be currently so inactive.

Its how it comes across. Going on what other people have written about him - Sterling, Cronin, Price, Kenny among others - he really seems to dig in when people tell him that he is wrong. :?

Egotistical maybe??
We all make mistakes. Its the men amongst us who can admit them though.

that makes Dennis and Brian then, because both are so arrpgant that they won't concede that they may be wrong, have made wrong decisions and can't always get their way out of any situation.....

glad they are leading our club forward????????

and Suity is right......real people can admit when they are wrong and step aside to let someone else have a go

Although I firmly believe one of them should, namely Smith, because he has MORE to do with our onfield performances as anybody.

Suity,

yeah i did ad-lib a bit to that statement, it was just a continuation of what i was thinking......nice clarification

but honestly, aside form all the "give Smithy a break" comments you do geneuinely believe he has to go don't you????????

I have already clarified that. Yes he should - without a doubt.

8 years for what - two sevens tournaments and a couple of club championships that only Parra fans and David Middleton will remember.

I don't think anyone on here disagrees that changes need to be made somewhere TE but its whether or not the board, players and CEO are going to make them is the thing.....

Don't beat around the bush Colonel ;-) - is this not the worst we have played under Smithy's reign??
8 years later and this is what he is dishing up.
Seriously, it is time to go.........Brian Smith.

I'm not beating anything....... but no amount of polls or sig files on a message board are going to make one small difference.

Maybe, maybe not.

But maybe, we are building momentum. Hell's bell's, even HJ is wavering in his support for Smith. Who would have thought that last season. There is only so much a man (or a frock wearing man ;-) ) can take.

I for one, will keep it kicking along.

I know that fan support or lack thereof can make a difference but whinging about the same thing every week doesn't change it....... I've served my three years to be eligible for the voting. If others did the same maybe a change has more chance.... ;-)

No it is actually the Leagues Club - the Football Club doesn't run the NRL side.

I'll sponsor anyone.....

Suity is right.......

if the NRL was Big Brother, with the 15 people being NRL coaches and the NRL players being the voting public.......i'm afraid that it would be......

"its time to go.........Brian......."

and no onew would hug him on the way out
