Signed up again for a couple of years after almost getting the spoon.

Serious questions have to be asked. Dropping Burt after what happened tonight again shows why supporters have to be asking questions. The players didn't lose the game tonight.

I hope I'm wrong, we really need stability but I just cannot see Kearney surviving. If we don't make the 8 he should be out on his ear.

He shouldn't be sacked, but his contract certainly shouldn't be extended until we start getting results on the field. The club should postpone any negotiations for the time being and let him prove himself just like players have to.

Would have stopped those tries where Matuia and Esi Tonga were (not thier fault, they shouldn't be there) and his goal kicking...........

What would have Burt offered???? It was good to see us start to make some metres from dummy half again. Sio went to fullback and didn't let anybody down. Hayne going down just killed us.

Speed, although it had no ultimate bearing on the game. With Hayne out injured early, that has got to be the slowest back 5 we've fielded for a long time. With out Hayne and burt, teams are literally going to lap us week in week out.

The board won't be getting rid of him... they LOVE him.

Plus getting rid of him would mean they look stupid for knifing Ando. It's like how the labor party has to stick behind Gillard now.

Eels looked great until Hayne went down. I think it harsh to knock the team based on selections after that point. With the reshuffle it was a credit to their performance to be still in the game at the 70min mark.

Matt Keating...... What a joke of a hooker! Why did they have Keating and McGuire on at the same time? He never even went into the hooker role? We sacked Anderson who took us to a Grand Final for this dud Kearney. Masterstroke from our club!!!

What does dropping Burt have to do with anything tonight? Noone knew hayne was going to get Injured again tonight. And personally I think sip did I better job at covering fullback that what Burt would of done.

I'm happy with sk, I'm actually finally seeing our boys playing with heart, we lost Hindy tonight and hayne, while hayne was playing we looked on fire. Hayne doesn't get Injured we win tonight.

We missed Burt, both his goalkicking and his positioning on the wing. Blair and Esi are woeful defensively and Burt or Morgan needs to come in for one of them. Esi, given he got injured and Blair was actually far more impressive than I expected in attack. Questions definitely need to be asked, he has yet to show anything as a coach and I dearly hope the speculation from Wideload about his re-signing is just his usual dribble. Re-signing him on what he has offered would be total madness. He has a good chance this year to show us what he's got I think, I was pretty happy with the performance on a whole and I think he has a good enough side to work with
