Can't half tell they were banking on still having Sailor and Rogers this time last year.

What a low low team the Tahs are.
They would struggle to beat the chiefs.
Will they get 10k to their next home game?

The Cheifs would beat the Tahs easily right now, they've actually played pretty well the last few weeks and the Tahs are sh*t. They didn't even deserve their bonus point as the Stormers should've gone for a penalty shot at the end and made it a nine poiunt margin but the lazy yarpies just booted it into touch. The NRL must be loving the Qld and NSW S14 performances right now.

Tahu signs for Waratahs

March 20, 2007

PARRAMATTA centre Timana Tahu has signed a four-deal deal to play rugby union from next season

The Australian Rugby Union announced the deal tonight.

Tahu, 26, will join New South Wales for the 2008 Super 14 competition after his contract with Parramatta expires at the end of the 2007 NRL season.

Tahu, now in his ninth season playing league, won the 2001 premiership with Newcastle.

He has played five Tests for Australia and 11 State of Origin matches for NSW.

The Australian Rugby Union has denied reports it is looking to sign Australian representative rugby league winger Eric Grothe, issuing a statement today saying they will not be making an offer.
ARU operations manager Pat Wilson said a report in the Daily Telegraph that Eric Grothe Jnr is about to sign a deal worth $280,000 per season from the ARU is totally incorrect.
"Eric is one of a number of high profile athletes the ARU is regularly approached to meet.
"An informal meeting was held with Eric, and that is as far as things have progressed", he said.
"No offer, formal or informal has been discussed or tabled

"The ARU spends millions in developing young talent through our own rugby programs, but occasionally someone is brought to our attention in a position where we think we might be able to develop extra depth and we agree to listen.
"The ARU always deals with these matters on a case by case basis.
"If Eric wishes to try to secure a playing contract with one of the Super 14 franchises, his management knows the doors are wide open to them, however the ARU will not be topping up any Super 14 franchise's offer.
The signing of Parramatta Eels centre Timana Tahu this week stoked speculation that teammate Grothe was next on the list.

What the Tahs need is a new f**king coach. You have the strongest team on paper and that d*ckhead McKenzie still seems to find new excuses every week. 'The Force took all our players' booo hooo. I like the Tahs but McKenzie is ruining them.

btw on inside rugby this week, they were mentioning that players were complaining of getting phone calls from John Connolly telling them what they need to be doing to prepare for the World Cup. Can't help them having 2 coaches who aren't on the same page.

were made to look ordinary by an awesome blues team, who have really been drilled by Nucifora. The waratahs forwards were absolutely dominated all night by the blues forwards, especially at the breakdown and around it. Granted they don't have waugh and vickerman, but it still makes you wonder why they've bought tahu and rumoured to be interested in grothe. What they realli need to bring in to their team is a good flanker, second rower and tighthead
