Actually I think Aiden Sezer didn't fulfill is potential at the Titans. Injuries were largely to blame for that and a roster that was in transition. Kane Elgey name popped up in the media tonight, he has ruled out returning if the Titans make it to the finals.

I'm starting to think a Titans finals spot could likely not happen. I just can't see the Titans beating a Cowboys team who has too much to play for at home with fourth spot on the line. Tigers held tough against the Warriors, and if Rickey Stuart makes good on his threat to rest his most pivotal players then the Tigers could pull off an upset against the Raiders. I think Stuart is crazy to do it though, particularly if the Raiders can secure secound spot if the Sharks lose on Saturday night.

i think hayne will get some stick if the titans miss out on the 8
The problem is he's come into a team that's all about forwards play, 35 receives at fullback for him is bordering on wasteful - Moylan got 48 in the same match.

Obviously he also needs a full pre-season with his team mates to get the combinations right.

So what happens to Tyrone next year? I assume he wont be keeping Elgey or Taylor out of the halves. He should go back to Newcastle.

It's still uncertain according to the Courier Mai.

"Titans coach Neil Henry could have a dilemma on his hands next season if Roberts stays at the club.

Elgey is determined to fight his way back into the team but Taylor and Roberts have done little wrong this season.

Roberts signed a two-year deal to join the Titans this season but Newcastle have paid a portion of his contract this season.

The 25-year-old said he was enjoying life on the Gold Coast and had no plans to leave.

“I am close to my family (in Ballina) and this year has been good,” Roberts said.

“There is great support. Everyone is happy. I am enjoying my football and loving it here.’’

Taylor and Roberts have been roommates throughout the season and will face Origin duo Johnathan Thurston and Michael Morgan in Townsville.

“I’d love for him to hang around,” Taylor said of Roberts.

“He’s been my closest friend this year. He’s like a brother to me. It would be heartbreaking to see him go.’’

Interesting. Still I cant see any room for Roberts there next year. He's too good for NSW cup though.

Hayne had a terrible game last night against the Cowboys and it hasn't gone unnoticed by the media. When your getting paid the big bucks your expected to lift in the big games and he didn't.

Thanks to the Raiders, it looks like the Titans will make it.
Good to see the Titans back in the finals - even if for just a week. Really good to see the Titans getting their act back together on an off the field.

What is it about Gold Coast teams turning into basket cases. First the abortion of an a-league team then both the Titans and Suns can't get it together on or off the field at all.

I'm really hoping the Titans can have a good solid run of finals for 5-6 years, build up a supporter base and culture and try for a legitimate rivalry with the Broncos.
