Anybody else notice how good we look in the first 10 - 15 mins of a game.

Last night chad and SJ both started the game running straight.
Chad ran at the line on the left and this created a hole for moylan to slice thru. f**k if l know why moyza ran back in and away from his centre tho.

Next play johnson runs at the line.
This brings them in and led to the long pass for katoas try.

6 nil.

And then the sideways starts from both halves.

Ever see keary or Munster do that shit.
Thats a no.
Munster is the king of sideways run. Only difference is that he unbelievably strong for a half. Mong strength. He can fend and break tackles at will.

Exactly.
A bloke throws a no-look pass towards the end of the game that gets intercepted, let's them back into the game when he should have been closing the game out, and then gets 3 Daily M points.
Go figure.
Have a look at the highlights on NRL app. Around the 4:20 mark. Look at Ramien.

Or he could have kicked it into the in-goal, maybe get a try, maybe trap them in, or at the very least have them battling to get out of their 10m line. It was an extremely low percentage play by SJ, and one that should not have been played at that stage of the game, especially by someone on his wage.

It was a lazy pass at a time of the game where we needed conviction to kill the game off.

It was typical New Zealand Warriors style effort.

He has to cut that shyte out of his game and become more boring and clinical at those times than flamboyant and risky.

For the amount of games CT and Johnson have played they both can do low percentage plays that you would expect from young halves like kid at dogs or roosters

If Johnson goes short to Ramien he strolls over. He goes long and gets intercepted
Either way it was not the time to be throwing a no-look pass just to "look like" a star, that bloke is supposed "to be" a star. When he wins us a game on the back of his work against a decent team my opinion may bend, but right now he cannot "own" a game.

Gentlemen, you have beautifully outlined the Shaun Johnson enigma.

He is so ingrained with putting on flash plays, he can’t get the basics right.

Shaggs is 100% spot on, through the hands we score the try, but he had to go with the miracle cut out ball.

Bomber said he was filthy on himself for the play, let’s see if he learns from it.

Frenzy.

I just watched the presser from the 'Dogs game

You can all continue to mark Chadley down as "will never be dropped". Morris clearly loves him

Yes!

And that seemingly harmless ‘mates never dog their mates’ attitude may well cost him hundreds of thousands of dollars over his lifetime.

Because, essentially - whether he realises it or not - he is willing to sacrifice himself and his family’s financial future for the sake of not offending a mate.

That’s the type of attitude which will get you sacked very quickly in favour of someone more ruthless.

I’m sorry, but JM is just too nice. We need a hard head... Just not Griffin...

How many years would Wayne want? 2? 3? 4?

Put it this way, you get Wayne and we probably have a bloody good chance of getting Dave Fifita. You then build a team around that one kid. It would be a pretty decent knock and rebuild but watch the kids come to the club if we jagged that bloke. It would only happen if Bennet was here in my opinion but it’s a gamble the club should take considering the lean years we are facing either way.

It’d be awesome...

What do you think of the Eddie Jones theory?

Mat Rogers was coached by him, and said that his training methods are basically ‘unforgiving’, which is what we need!!!

Judging by the look of some of those Pom yawnyon players when Eddie had the Poms at No1 in the world I reckon he might of used a bit of the Dank training method too.
