He is standing in the middle of the field.
He threw a great Cut out pass to Dugan last week who gave a great ball to Hiroti for the try.
Chad doesn’t get credit for that... even though in theory if it weren’t for his part there is no try.
This type of stuff happens all the time.

I agree but in his defence, Johnson was there slightly too late.

agree. With the amount of repeat sets the refs are handing out it is a lot more beneficial for a team to have the ball in their hands.

Played much better and at a level we need him at despite that intercept. I get the idea of kicking to corners but I don't like it any earlier than the 4th for the above reasons mentioned.

Ive bagged him all year and last night was no doubt much better. That intercept was just Chad. No halfback in the game would have seen the dogs player come from the blind spot however the good halfbacks in the game would have put the kick through for 3 blokes that were running through. This is the difference from instinct halfbacks and Chad. Im not putting shit on the guy but just stating the reality of decent halfbacks in 2020.

I’ve bagged chad as much as anyone, last night was a pass. The intercept though as frustrating as it was, Johnson and Moylan are as much to blame. The lack of urgency in the support play is atrocious and part of the reason why we won’t go anywhere this season. When you look at the good teams like the Roosters etc when a player makes a break Tedesco or one of the halves is always there backing up. Johnson got caught out and tried to make up for it but was just a bit too late because of his initial stand and watch approach. Moylan just doesn’t want to stretch out because he is probably afraid of snapping his hamstring again.

Throw the intercept and cost the team 6 points or put the grubber through and get give Katoa his 4th try of the game.

Instead of 20-18 it could of been at least a 24-12 win or 26-12 win.

Chad ran at the line on the left and this created a hole for moylan to slice thru. f**k if l know why moyza ran back in and away from his centre tho.

This brings them in and led to the long pass for katoas try.

And then the sideways starts from both halves.

He bombed a try, 25th minute, Woods put him through a hole, 2 in support but Chad throws it to a Dogs player. And people gave him Daly m points, LMFAO.

Or he could have kicked it into the in-goal, maybe get a try, maybe trap them in, or at the very least have them battling to get out of their 10m line. It was an extremely low percentage play by SJ, and one that should not have been played at that stage of the game, especially by someone on his wage.
