The way ahead, the plan.

Here we are at GF week and we are not participating. Yes I know its obvious , so what are we doing about it ?
We must have a long term plan for the football team to be at the GF in 2012 and the finals next year.
We must start now . Its a mind set, we have to set out our goals , players and staff must be come aware of what lies ahead.
Simplistic , yes but it has to start now .
Look at the Dragons , boring as bat sh*&, coached by a very boring man. But this coach planned to be where they are this weekend.

Its very simple Carina. Find a way to be over the cap, then sign a player who was on $700K 2 seasons earlier for $45k. Release 2 players who are on about $150k & say they had to be released to free up $500k of cap space. Then the hard part is to come up with a game plan that is based upon cheating with the 2nd marker defensive position, then play the old "friends in influential position card & get the ex st George guy who now manages the Referees to decide if the play is legal or not. Yes, both teams are under cap pressure, the Sharks because of Ricky's back-ending, and the Dragons because they have some good players, but the only thing keeping the Sharks from being as successful as the Dragons is that the Sharks haven't got the second marker in the right position.

Carina, the GF weekend is always a weekend where we wonder WTF can be done, but alas, Reefy has it nailed.

Gaz is the proverbial elephant in the NRL's room & the media has been mute about it. They are fargen cheats, they'll win tomorrow & there'll be glowing praise of how they overcame massive odds, choker tags blah blah fuggen blah and yet again spoils for the team who best rorts the cap every year. FFS!!

Starting to make me fargen sick cause to me, even if we make one, it'll take a loss & then another 20-years before we make another one for another loss. Makes me wonder why I keep comin back - I'm a deadset fuggen idiot I'm sure of it.

I would say that there already is a definate plan in place like the one you mention. But in reality, forget about grand finals, the real plan at the moment is to basically stay afloat until this development, merger whatever can take off along with the new TV deal then go from there.

Until we can get some more cash in the place allowing us to increase and improve our coaching staff and set ups and spend all our caps then we wont compete with the majority of teams.

I never did find out if Dr Jim was planting Juney. She was a top sort.

I did remember Norm Gunston interviewing Juney's brother, he ran an inner city servo. Well he wouldn't confess any details to Norman about the alleged relationship, even with the hard hitting NG probing questions.
