My housemate had $10 on Boyd for first try scorer @ $26. I told him he was stupid and it would never happen. Nek minnit....

Does Pearce get a mention as well?

Rushing back from such an extensive injury so damn early was thwart with danger. You could blame the coach for rushing him back but ultimatley only the player knows how the player feels. Its not like Hastings was playing like ass either. I may be way off track with my thought process but him rushing back like he did was a major f**k up.

A victorian colleague came to the game last night with us, he announced to the group, "I'm going to whack $50 on Boyd". We all were like "f**k no don't, don't do that, its crazy".

Lets just say it was our shout, all night.

Duffie went for extra points for creativity - but in terms of gifting 6 pts to the opposition SKD's effort is up with the best there's ever been

I reckon Duffie's was worse while SKD's was more spectacular. Roosters had a lot longer to overcome that start, right before half time with the scores close Duffie's was unforgivable.

One of the Blackhawks players.

Recovers a kick in his in goal, gets out and is tackled near the sideline but the tackle is incomplete.

Instead of staying down and letting the jets players lay a hand on him he gets up and runs towards the sideline. Is tackled by Jets players and taken over the sideline. Before he goes out throws a pass back inton his ingoal where a Jets player dives on it for the try.

Same bloke had another howler later in the game. Threw a massive no look cut out pass over the sideline. We have a new pecking order imo.

1. Blackhawks guy
2. SKD
3. Duffie

Blackhawks guy wins this week's award.

Jahrome Hughes

Probably the biggest howler in an Qld Cup grand final since Aaron Barba doing a 'SKD' and throwing an intercept right into the hands of Burleigh's Reggie Cressbrook in the opening set of the 2003 GF. At least Barba atoned for his sins on the day by scoring a hat trick of tries and Redcliffe going on to win comfortably.
