who is Paul Carige and what did he do that was so bad ?

Get a tape of the 1998 prelim final between the eels and dogs.
He made alot of mistakes that game.
One was that he chipped (long chip) ahead in the dying seconds of normal time and gave the ball back to the dogs. Polla Mounter went for a 48m field goal that fell short by 30cm or so.
It went to 20m extra time and he made more errors.
His name will live on forever.
