I used to sign that song at Karaoke when I was in Japan, it always got mixed reactionsAnother great song + great film clip combo..
I spend half my life on Youtube, I will take over this thread.
Two of my favourites, Doc Watson and Townes Van Zandt.
Yeah she's awesome. And Joe Bonamassa is one of my favourites. As I said I like almost all things Rockwiz this one is from the BB Jazz & Blues Festival
Beth Hart (back voice in a white body) IMO is a wonderful Blues singer doing the Etta Jones classic "I'd Rather Go Blind".
If you like her she does some great numbers with Joe Bonamassa well worth a look.
https://m.youtube.com/results?search_query=playing+for+change. Check these guys out ,they do it really well ....I had followed Glen Campbell since his time with the Beach Boys and only really started to appreciate his music after seeing his concert here ............ Live at South Dakota with the orchestra.
I thinking Glen was peaking when he played this............... simply fantastic.
The thing is, many people may not know that he could really play a mean guitar!
This concert was for PBS and not many copies were released.
Today, you can pay $300 plus for an old copy ofv this DVD..
Good news is, there is a music shop here on the coast that can get new copies made, from Sweden, CD & a DVD for around $60 AUD ............... I know, cause l ordered and bought one and its a quality copy too.
If anyone wants the details, send me a PM.

Midnight Oil , Australian Crawl, The Sports , Rose Tattoo ,Hoodoo Gurus, Mental as Anything also some more of the great Aussie bands around the 70s and 80s.As a Baby Boomer growing up in the old St. George district I was so lucky to see all the great live bands of the past. Chisel, Spit Enz, Mondo Rock, Skyhooks, Angels, Dragon, Noiseworks and even AC/DC at the the old Hurstville civic centre in their early years.
But a few years ago I got to witness the best live Australian act I've ever seen at Sawtell RSL. Icehouse were World class and the sound was brilliant. Enjoy!!
