I am annoyed, I can't play this season due to a torn meniscus, just when I had a shot at first grade again after my last f**king knee injury! Not very happy...

Whod you play for?

Well it isn't as horrible as I thought. We chased down 303 in 59.1 overs.

I hit the winning runs!

Haurie started yesterday for Sydney West in the state cup vs Canberra.

He roared with an amazing 0\46 off 10, INCLUDING a maiden.

that was played on my wicket at rosedale

I am a bowler that likes to think he can bat mate but you're right I batted myself at 9 this particular game.

It's not ridiculously small but once it's through the infield it's tough to stop that's for sure.

How are you shaping up this season Twiz?

we start this saturday

I was a bit concerned I'd have to play first grade as our keeper is injured, but we found a youg fella to replace him

we start defending our premiership and looking forward to it

Season for me starts tomorrow, although 1st and 2nd grade started last weekend. In 3rds which is good considering how i've been going at the nets, and its on turf which is a bonus :)
Fortunately i bowled well for the first time this year at the nets the other day, actually felt like i was getting the ball down the other end properly n not just floating it down. My battings f**ked at the moment but :(

whats this middday stuff Earl, is it a one dayer ?

we start at 1 but they are all two day games till Daylight Saving starts, then we have a round of one dayers

looks like we are starting the season with a washout

We bowled them out for 221 inside 64 overs.

I got 3/29 of 12 overs. And 1 catch.

In reply we are 0/42.

other team got 258, we were all out for 105 or so.

Then today we won. I played like sh*t both matches and will most probably(and deservedly) get dropped from the 17s squad
