Conspiracy theory too. Where's Redders.

I'll back in Witness Protection.

I reckon he'd spill his guts at the first sign of a waterboard.

For those in here that don't think that Reefy has a stash of dough.

Your are playing with yourselves.

Reefy aka Elford lives in Goulburn. He has assumed a new surname by deed poll.

Ive done my investigative journalism here. (Note Magney and DUI - I said investigative)

We all know this figure now to be Reefy

Have any of you here heard of the Richest Man in Australia.?

He is a Queenslander and one very wealthy bloke.

Now you tell me.... Ladies and Gentleman I introduce to you Mr Clive Palmer

Okay, you tell me - the defence rest, and if I am chasing a loan, I'm straight to my old mate Reefy.

Disregard this information at your leisure Magnay.

Maybe Redders is Reefy is Elford. The picture of the gent would suggest he could accommodate 3 people.

Sharks fraud case: Elford gets bail
June 17, 2009 - 1:31PM
Cronulla Sharks fan Clint Elford has been granted bail after a Sydney court was told he made false insurance claims to the tune of $500,000, and then spent the lot.

The Goulburn man today faced charges of obtaining financial advantage by false or misleading statement, attempting to obtain financial advantage by false or misleading statement and making and using a false instrument.

"This is a very protracted and involved fraud by the defendant," police prosecutor Sergeant Paul Upsall told Sutherland Magistrates Court.

He went on to say about $500,000 had already been paid to Elford by an insurance company and that the entire amount had since been spent.

It is understood $30,000 of that money was donated to the Cronulla Sharks.

"The police believe there may well be other insurance claims that have not been put as yet," Sgt Upsall said.

He opposed bail for Elford.

The court was told Elford was already serving a suspended sentence, imposed in January last year, for offences including making a false claim to police.

Elford claims to be terminally ill and he spent part of the morning in hospital.

Legal Aid Commission solicitor Michael Bladwell, for Elford, did not enter a plea, but said his client was a "sick man".

"There is the existence of a section 12 suspended sentence, but that's the only matter on his record and there's no suggestion that he has failed to appear (at court) on those matters," Mr Bladwell said in applying for bail.

His bail application included that Elford live with his parents, but Sgt Upsall told the court $150,000 of the allegedly fraudulently claimed money had in fact been paid to Elford's mother.

Magistrate Beverly Schurr granted strict conditional bail, requiring a $50,000 surety to be posted by an acceptable person.

She also ordered Elford not to leave his Goulburn home except to report twice a day to police and attend doctors' appointments.

"That's a form of home detention," she said.

Elford's matters were adjourned to Goulburn Local Court next Wednesday.
