He can obviously coach, second week of finals with the worst backline in the comp

Arguably would have beaten manly with Carney in the team.

you people are mad.
Im happy we resigned him.

He is the reason why everyone came to Cronulla in the first place and is probably the reason why players are starting to resign now.

I wonder which props the leader is referring to...

Im deeply touched coolum - my name in a thread title.

Thought it might have been in honour of my consistent pearls of wisdom - then l read it....

Im speechless.

The only serious conclusion l can come to is someone/thing is sending me a very strong sign.

That we will never ever win it.

Its one step forward. Two steps back. Year after year since 2000.

The one consolation is this thread will probably hit 10 000 replies and go down as way more successful than that cretin Flanno.

Get with the program mate.

Everyone has known that since forever.

Good call. perhaps we would have held onto Fafeets at a nominal rate had we resigned him earlier.

I am sure the NRL wanted him gone, so its a small, but important, get phuccjkked to the NRL

Gallen is coach, Flanno just signed on as his assistant for 3 years.

Ha. I had the same thought the other day.

It's only a matter of if, not when Gal becomes our coach.

My tip, once he retires, he will start off as our recruitment manager.

I also noticed Johnny Morris is planing a coaching career once her retires and has publicised the fact that he's done a coaching certificate.

Im happy with Flanno re-signing. I doubt any other coach would touch us with a ten foot pole. FFS our our interim coach doesnt even want the gig.

I'm also OK with the retention of Flanno. He did well last year & the players seem to like & respect him. Asada have 4 days until the end of March so lets hope we can get that sorted & then move on with some sense of stability in the club......well at least until the next crisis.......

I'm ok with it as well for the record. He recruited well and has the respect of the elite players.. I'm sure they have a better scope on how good a coach he is than a few nuffies on a Sharks forum. :D

I'm sure he wants the gig for this year, but in publicly saying he doesn't he's publicly showing his support and solidarity for Flanno.

Indifferent about the re-signing.

Would have preferred if it was only 2 years however.

At this point does anyone *really* care? Get the ASADA stuff out of the way, and then we can start thinking about the future.

If he does not go down a media path.

Fox/CH9 love ex origin captains on the books.
