THIS WEEKS GOALKICKER

I understand that Merritt will be this weeks goalkicker, considering he was supoosed to be a sensation at Souths.

If he is having an off day, who would be next. Will they finally let Matty Hilder or even Dave Simmons have a kick, as they were both gun kickers in Junior football.

If any of the above do really well, will Kimmorley let them kick when he returns?

Any thoughts?

I suspect if he is having an off-day he'll kick the whole game regardless, purely because Kimmorley has the same liberty. If he does kick well, I'd give a lot of consideration to keeping him on board. Boy do we need a more consistent kicker for crunch time...

Hopefully if Merritt, or any of the other guys that get a shot go well, the coaching staff will give them the role permanently. I doubt they could do much worse than what Kimmorley has been producing.

I'm surprised they hung onto Kimmorley as kicker for so long if the other 3 are as good as they are cracked up to be.

If any of them can kick well, we may have solved a major problem.

Here's hoping.

yeah SS, more goal kicker talk.

It has been a major feature in this little forum but, also a major failing for a few years.

If Merritt kicks well this week, I'd be glad to shut up on the subject.

*News Flash*

Merritt kicks 7/7 from all over the ground.
Kimmorley kicks the following week regardless.

Brett says "Nathan is on fire", I better kick.

I really hope Merrit kicks well and they do finally decide to give him the duties. Surely Noddy will accept it, Mr Angry?

Mine is nothing but pure speculation.
I hope I am soooo wrong.
But I get the feeling no matter how well Merritt does, BK will keep kicking.
Let's hope I am wrong for the teams sake, lets hope I am right so reefy has some material.

Well, I have been hearing ppl here giving Merrit wraps for his goal kicking for a long time and I have not seen him kick, so this weekend's game will be interesting.

Surely he won't be any worse than Noddy.
I hope he nails em all from the sideline

Maybe he's just warming reiks spot and so however he kicks BK will kick next week when we play the Pennies!

Provided that Reik is back! ;-)

Just a thought.

Maybe Peach won't be back and all three will play. That's a th0ought too but not a very nice one. :?

Another pretty ordinary thought is that we might not score any tries, so Merrit might not even get a chance.

Damnit Coolum why did you start me thinkin??

Well at current "interest" rates, Mr Merrit better start paying off some principal in the form of goal kicking at the very least.
