Sorry to start another thread, but I wanted to get this info into an easy to read place at the top of a thread for all those keen sharkies who are heading north in a months time.
Also, for anyone who has not considered the trip north, we may be able to tempt you ! The flights being offered by Virgin at present and extremely good and with a bit of communication I'm sure we can organise share accomodation and transport to and from the game so that the cost for two days up there will really be cheap. The weather is awesome, last year we played golf, drank by the pool and rode scooters around from pub to pub !
TICKETS FOR GROUP BOOKINGS
There are TWO options folks and I'd like to see what everyone thinks by way of reply in this thread as to which we should book, majority rules eh ?
In the past ELmo sharky and I have sat in the EASTERN CONCOURSE section, which is pretty similar to the east concourse view at shark park, great seats right amongst it, the locals are pretty good and enjoy their footy and take our presence in good fun.
TICKETS FOR THESE BAYS ARE $23 for adults $20 for kids ( normally $27 for adults )- I may be able to do a little better than this, it will depend on numbers.
THe other option is in the northern stand, which if you can imagine a large stand ( not covered) on the ET hill, that is the kind of view you get. Tickets there are only $13.50 and are the same price as general entry.
