I'm flying down Saturday morning, what's the weather like atm? If the news is anything to go by I should be bringing my ski jacket

So looking forward to seeing the SFS 1st hand, looks great on TV.

Here's to a big crowd & go the Roos! :D:D

Well we won't know until Sunday. However we can say that according to PAX figures that we are over 40K. This is rare in our sport. I think anything over 35k for Rugby League is a success.

I tried at ticketek to get decent Cat B or A and they were a lot further away from the action then I thought.

Well done Colin Love.

The walkup crowd should hopefully compensate for the PAX innacuracy. And expect another 1000-1500 to be sold tomorrow and Saturday. Fingers crossed for a sellout?

Tonight gibbsy and brandy predicted 25000. Since being denied any radio rights these two have been a bit sour grapes in their RLWC talk. I believe they may have been dudded but fair go guys, support the game you love, it's f**ken rugby league that counts.

Didn't Yak say 34,000 were sold around about the time the PAX was 35,000?

So that would mean for this game the PAX isn't far off.

Over 41K now.

Should get a nice crowd out there for Sunday. The walk up should be large too.

how much of a walkup is possible with 41k presold? the only empty seats will be the pouncy paddington SFS members that turn up to one event every 10 years

Members have to pay for this event. I don't 41,000 has been sold. I think the figure is inflated due to tickets getting issued and then cancelled with the buy a jersey get a ticket promotion. I think the real figure is probably about 36,000-37,000 at this stage.

Colin, what you should be saying is "It's headed for a sellout, get in fast or miss out". You won't have said it will be a sellout so you can't be called on it later. Just twig the subconscious fear of missing out.

I think we should all revise our estimates down a bit.

But from what I am hearing the RLIF are doing everything possible to fill the stadium.

A friend of mine is a parent in Junior League and he got offered a free double pass for Sunday. Sounds like a few complimentary tickets in the mix. Let's not forget the walk up.

If we take out the RLWC finals of 1988 and 2000, a crowd of 40,000 will be the biggest for AU v NZ since 1963's 3rd Test at the SCG. That's an awesome stat.
