Reading between the lines he has resigned for his "Balmain" affiliations.
It appears as if there have been peace talks at Board level and both sides have agreed to let the Balmain/Wests thing go for the betterment of the JV and have already sought ARLC advice/assistance on this. Humpty's Balmain affiliations probably mean he has to be the fall guy and that both sides of the JV are in negotiations with the ARLC for an independent board and CEO to take the JV/Club forward

The clubs situation at the moment can not be blamed on any one person, every one needs to put their hand up and attempt to do better for the good of the club not the individual.

Change is needed and Georgalis, Skandalis and Simmons all need to be punted to be replaced by Payten and Head.

I want Geogalis, Skndo and Simmons out as much as anybody but i wouldn't be rushing to replace them with Payten and Head. I think putting these guys in a position where they need the respect of the team and the ability to come down hard on them when needed can prove difficult when they have played together in the past. Look at Nathan Brown when he started to coach the Dragons. I think we need to look externally.

I can't help but feel all this board talk has started after the wider fan base started questioning thei positions.

They can all resign, they all deserve to go

I believe Sheens applied a theory of not employing anybody that may of had the ability to actually become a better coach than himself. Now we are left with a cupboard full of muppets that struggle to put witch's hats out and peal oranges at training, let alone come up with D&A plans for game day.

Quotes from the Stephen Humphreys interview on the Game Plan

“It’s fair to say we are facing some significant challenges”

“I was have completing my future at Wests Tigers…I just felt it was time to step aside"

“I delayed it a little bit…I didn’t want to seen as jumping ship”

“It definitely can be fixed…the splits at board level are grossly exaggerated”

“I think it’s fair to say that things haven’t worked out as we envisaged” regarding Adam Blair

“Tim [Sheens] is still on our payroll”

“When things are going well, people forget those issues, when things are going poorly things are amplified”

Thanks for that. What was the tone of the questioning? Did they ask any curly question over the debacle with Tim Sheens, Adam Blair and the 'mates' culture that developed under Sheens & himself?

Dean Richie was the interviewer...

It wasn't really any "curly questions" straight to the point.

Dean asked if Sheens was still on the pay roll, a simple answer to that.

Dean asked about Adam Blair and whether he was worth the money the club was offering, he answered as quoted above.

He was collected in his answers and remained consistent throughout the interview.

Cheers. The reckoning continues. As people jump ship and are no longer there some of their actions or Inactions will be exposed.

He's very polished as a public speaker, completely dominated Ritchie (not difficult, admittedly).
Said a lot without really revealing anything, which is fair enough I guess.
