We couldnt even get Danny Galea a run in the backrow last year, throw in Saffy, OHara.... hhhmmm what shall we do ?? I know, lets waste a sh*tlaod more money on anotehr backrower.. he will fit in perfectly !

Frustrating !

Keen as hell for Youngquest, i hope that happens cause he is a bigt strong finisher like Patty Richards... i would have more faith in him then anyone else !

I ammend my last post to how many average back rowers do we need, If we signed someone of Mason's statue i.e Big, Powerful, damaging, Origin & International quality, it wouldnt be that bad, instead we wait till November to blow our load on Nathan Brown/Matt Elliot rejects.

He's not in the Patty class but is better than Fitzy or Junior and looked a handy kicker that night at Telstra. The 4 wise men have excelled themselves by snaring Payne from under the noses of the Corrimal Collegians

We are like the blokes who chase the fat unwanted backpackers at scruffys at 6am because we don't wanna splurge on the coke s**ts at hugo's

I wonder if the people bagging Payne have ever seen him play,or are doing so cos it wasnt Mason or Asotasi signed.

IMO......having watched him play he is a good player.

Like Gods Illa says, big strong and mean.....he did give some penalties away, but I dont mind that if he provides offloads, metres and a punch to someones head every now and then.

And.....IMO he will play prop.

Mate.....this bloke isnt small.

I dont care what numbers are given,he looked big in a very big pack.

And......he has TICKER.

Hope you're right mate. For some reason i remember seeing him on TV when he had switched from Canterbury to the Dragons, and he looked small (no bigger than Ben Galea). Maybe he's grown??

Payne is about 6'2 and a half, and Galea is 5'10 on his tippy toes.

Chalk and cheese.

And this kid got metres in limited time last year.

Another backrower in the front row. Yay!

He could give away a few......but so did Blocker Roach and he was pretty good.

I think we need a bit of starch.

Im prepared for a few penalties,if in return we get metres/offlaods and some punchie/punchie.
