Got no idea what they practice in defence sessions.

Got no idea what they practice in attack sessions.

Simply, they are a team that has no idea & no ideas.

Both the halves had ineffective kicking games ( with one 40/20 exception)...

I've lost patience with Brooks... They need to try a different option at 7.

Also Rankin and Nofo getting pushed back in goal is some of the softest and embarrassing Tigers plays of the year (amongst so many this is a big call...)

Which Brooks lost the ball on the next play?

I think both halves are poor, Joey Johns kept saying they are playing either side of the ruck each, that has to be the coaches call?

They are both poor but I would persevere with Moses...

Lol Moses .. the merkin is to soft to ever be anything special . 90% off his passes are just to avoid being tackled , there is no vision behind them what so ever.

Left game with 20 mins to go.That was disgraceful. We r totally inept. There is nothing to look forward to in short to medium term.We made a team that isn't travelling that well look like world beaters. We were totally dominated up the middle where it was a mismatch.

Im sure Taylor will spout his usual deluded platitudes that our defence is improving etc & he will probably give Kev & nofa the day of training tomorrow for a job well done.

We will definitely finish 15th again this season & there r a no. of annihilations yet to witness against teams that r a lot better than the dogs !

Both halves are not quality players but they aren't that bad. I think though t's the coaches call though the way they are playing.

I know we're shit but we should beat Knights next week and it's a good time to make a number of changes

MCK > Naquama
Literally anyone who is a decent second rower in Reserves > Sironen
JAC > Rankin
Drinkwater > One of Brooks/Moses

Our forwards were ok I guess most of the tries were scored on edges. E.T tackled his ring off Lawrence too but had a couple errors in him. Woods made solid meters up the middle etc

I'd also push Felise back onto the bench for Halatau ...we need size ffs and what does Halatau offer apart from just getting a free ride into the team each week..he isn't even a true utility

We don't have two organisers in the halves, so having a galf either side is stupid. Moses is a halfback. Brooks is a better halfback and five eighth that Moses. His more direct running, better passing and varied kicking game, along with the stats, more than proves it.

One of them needs to be first receiver all the time on both sides. I don't care who. But once that decision has been made, we won't see any improvements.

Moses gets too much ball, runs sideways and passes 2 or 3 metres before the defence. He will never be a threat with the ball in hand, and he'll rarely create anything if he doesn't try and take the line on.

He plays scared in attack sometimes. At least Brooks runs to the line. That little play with Lawrence after the 40/20 was beautifully done. It could never happen with Moses.

Maybe Moses gets more ball because Brooks never calls for it?

Brooks was missing for most of the game today... As the 7 there is no excuse for not getting involved more...

I would prefer a bloke that is having a go to someone who goes missing when the going gets tough...

I don't think Brooks goes missing. I think Moses overcalls him which is killing the attack. We seem to go to Moses too much inside the opposition 20.

Being overcalled isn't a sign of gutless behaviour. Brooks could call first and then Moses calls just after him at the play the ball. The hooker will go to the most recent call.

If Brooks calls again, the hooker will be confused and nothing will happen.

I see it like this
Moses - selfish
Brooks - team player

Whatever the reason he needs more involvement...

If this means giving the hooker a gob full for not passing him the ball, or telling Moses to butt out every once in a while than so be it..

However, I think he has a confidence issue.

Positives:
- I thought ET was great. Exactly what we want in a lock. Solid defensively, good contact, slows down the play the ball. He also offers some ball playing at the line.
- Moses showed alot of heart. Put a few good shots on, he did rush up on one of the tries but no arm grabbing this week.
- I'm guessing Matt Ballin and Cherrington will both come into the side next week. Robbie won't be a huge loss, I would like to see Cherrington still on the bench when he's there anyway.

now for the negatives:
There was obviously a lot so I will only touch on a few.
- I've always known the defensive side of moses, naiquma, nofo is weak, but today it was just diabolical. I'm not too sure if it comes down to individuals, coaching, lack of communication but something urgently needs to be done.
- Hunt, Rankin is no teddy. Maybe it just wasn't there day or maybe we need better fullback coverage
- Brooks/Moses combo just isn't working. I truly believe this comes down to coaching.
- Will we ever get our best 17 healthy onto the pitch again this year
- sironen/lovett/halatau worst backrow in the comp?
- players getting forced into touch/ingoal. Use your brain and get down low. Simona/hunt/rankin/moses guilty of this today

I'd punt Moses, guys refuses to take the line on. Lawrence at 5/8 for the rest of the year and go to market to buy someone to partner Brooks in 2017. Id go hard for soward, a guy like him would be a blessing for this team.

Whilst its easy to criticize the halves, we had no possession and missed triple the tackles. Woods was the only one making any metres. So who takes the blame for that?

With no Farah, team direction landed squarely and entirely on the halves. With Moses trying to be a showpony to jack up his salary, Brooks was left with this task with a side playing with no skill or intent.

Communication between Moses, Naiqama and Nofoaluma is horrible.

Given they also had Aloiai out there didn't help.

Even with Lovett at the other centre, he was on the same side as Lawrence and Taylor. Better communication. Dogs barely bothered attacking that side.

Even opposition clubs know how bad Naiqama is

Not here to troll or anything, I just wanted to make comment as a NSW supporter (not that I care for the whole Origin circus anymore), I find it damning that a Tigers fan can summarize that in their team next week "Robbie won't be a huge loss". And yet he is a shoo-in as Blues hooker. Imagine a Storm fan saying "we won't miss Cam next week" if he was injured etc....

I agree by the way. While Farah hasn't been bad this year, he's just been pretty stock IMO.

I'd punt Taylor and not Elijah, the other one called Jason.

At least he showed some progress by dropping Sironen today but unfortunately they had to use him because of injury to Sue. Now will he show us that he really does have some balls by dropping Moses for Drinkwater, Rankin for Aldo Carr and Naiqama for a centre.

As for the forwards, I hope they take notice in their video review session of the guy who came into the squad this week and played so well without the benefit of an off season and 10 rounds of training with his new team mates.
