Smith should never captain Australia again mate. The board made the right decision last summer.

I'd be dropping Paine now btw. If he's not captain he doesn't offer anything someone else won't. Bit anyone who think this doesn't leave a big hole in the leadership is daft IMO.

Hell, give it Lyon for the summer. That bald sea bass Merkin doesn't do anything else for us, let him wear the weight
They haven’t made any decision mate, never answered the question they just kept Paine around like a bad smell and have made Cummins Vice. Hoping Paine hangs around for another year and another option that isn’t Smith drops in their laps.

I couldn’t give a shit what happens to Paine, he’s only there because of what Warner did way back in Seth Efrica. Smith got 12 months for something he had nothing to do with. I think cancel culture is BS and a millennial thing but anything to be rid of a Paine can only be a good thing for Australian cricket.
You seriously don’t think the captain holds any responsibility? Ffs…. As a captain and leader Paine >>>> Smith

100% on Smith

I don’t agree on Cummins. But not any good options there, he’s got to be considered

I don’t want him back as skipper, I think he showed he was weak when it come to strong personalities like Warner. But I have no doubt he wasn’t in the the ridiculous plan and took the punishment as the skipper.

But Paine being made skipper after this affair just when Smith had gotten 12 months is just laughable.

The perfect captain at the time of sandpaper gate would have been Usman Khawaja. Unfortunately he wasn't in the boys club

Usman may look laid back when batting but he is anything but especially when it comes to leadership. You only have to look at how he took on Langer in the Amazon doco. And khawaja isnt afraid to ruffle a few feathers. He quite openly in the past has bagged selectors about feedback and has had good results for QLD in state cricket

This isnt looking good for dick pic Paine, and id say CA

According to the Herald Sun, the messages date back to the eve and the morning of the first Ashes Test at the Gabba in 2017.

They report that while some of the messages were too explicit to publish, the exchange included Paine suggesting to the woman: “Will you want to taste my *** ?? F*** me, I’m seriously hard.”

The messages also included what was described in the texts as a “dick pic”.

In a correspondence with Australia Cricket authorities in June 2018, the woman claimed she was offended by “Mr Paine’s sexually explicit, unwelcome and unsolicited photograph of his genitals in addition to the graphic sexual comments”.

Cricket Australia reportedly became aware of the messages as long ago as March 2018 after letter of complaint were sent to Cricket Australia and to Cricket Tasmania - the latter of which she worked at before resigning in 2017.

In a statement, Cricket Tasmania said: “As soon as Cricket Tasmania was made aware, it undertook an investigation that determined the interaction was consensual, private, occurred on the one occasion only, was between mature adults and was not repeated,” he said.

“Cricket Tasmania clearly does not condone this type of behaviour and addressed the matter directly with Tim Paine.

“However, because of the consensual nature of the actions it was determined that no further action was required or appropriate.”

It is also reported that complaints were made to the Australian Human Rights Commission regarding alleged sexual harrassment in relation to the exchange.

Thier is no way Tim should resign because his dick is small. Stand up for ordinary endowed.
Tim should stick it up CA as the prick/pic was from 2017- Tim has lengthen his capitcy- (amh) for the last 'couple' of years. So he shouldn't be judged on old Dick pics- cause his wife says it's OK to Carry On!
