If the papali’i rumours are true you just release him you don’t wanna bring in a player that doesn’t wanna be there

Eels don’t want Nathan Brown anymore that sounds like a fair trade

2006-2009 were dreadful, painful years. He should of walked at the end of 2007 at worst 2008. 2 good years in the 7 since we won the comp doesn't give him a free ride to go on.

He honestly had a gun side for about 7 years and done nothing lmao

As unattractive as the Tigers are there are only 16 Head Coaching positions in the NRL with about 2-4 coming up each year. They would find someone and probably a decent one too. However instead of that they've decided to go for the guy they sacked a decade ago whos made 3 finals in his last 18 seasons of coaching. Amazing decision making even by their standards.

Remarkable decision, the bloke had Benji and Farah for a decade and couldn't make another GF over there rookie season GF lol

2009 we should have been challenging for the premiership and missed the finals. 2007-2009 were pathetic looking at the team we had on paper

Gareth Ellis was one of the best forwards in the game in his time there too.
TBF We made the top 4 in 2 of the 3 full years he played, he missed most of 2012 which went a long way to us missing the fianls

Good start to the second coming.

Nice bump. Will it be players out of position and unbalanced bench compositions. Tigers have made 3 excellent signings and have Douhei back at full health, should be challenging to reclaim 9th spot this season but early form has them on target for the spoon

I genuinely believed Api would carry Tigers from the spoon to 9th again.

But Tigers are probably looking to make history having found a way to slide down the ladder coming off a wooden spoon.

I feel for Api and Papa'lii. Gonna be long seasons for those two playing alongside the many pea hearts they have to play alongside. The Wests Tigers Board seem to have forgotten thatit was Sheens in his first stint that let the nuts run the nuthouse that saw the bad culture develop that still appears to be there and has affected every coaching regime since.

I predicted Api would mail it in this year, content to pick up his mega pay cheque and coast rather than bust arse for a broken club. Let's see if I'm right
