Sure he will learn from that, and will make him a better player but do you really think you should be kicking to your own player in your own 20 under pressure in a final??! Good season from an 18 year old who i have no doubt will be an Aussie Star in the green and gold.

Though you could see it in all of the players getting pissed off.


How was that screen shot of when the Cowboys scored their last try in the back ground all the Eel fans start to leave!! That’s GOLD!!

That kick was the only thing that came off for us.

As unorthadox as the kick was. It is not something he hadn't don before in a game with a successful outcome. It was just one of those days. Like with the Dragons, timing was off & nothing stuck.

I thought i was alright as if he didn't do that they were going to have to clear from inside there own 10 as the cowboys were going the power play with big defence.

There is nothing wrong with a bit of flair in the game otherwise it can just become another stagnant affair.

I find it hard to be critical of Smith.

Its his first year in the top grade and he experienced a compleye collapse by his more experienced players around him.

tim smith is a champ but what we needed was a good 5/8th, morris is allright but he ain't that good, i guess green coming through will bolster our chances for premiership next year or the yeat after. so all in all, im not that sad, we played good this season and its good enough for me, i didn't expect them to be getting the minor premiership. So now i can finally concentrate on my HSC.

Thurston play 1 good game in 3! That is not good. Prince is the best prospect and should have played this year. Tim Smith has the second best kicking game in the comp, behind Johns. OMG if he is playing as well as he was this year at Origin time, pick him! Queensland need to take a punt on a few players otherwise they will not beat NSW!

Not quite.

The kick HAD to be made, if he didn't put that kick in then we're forced in goal for a line dropout. He had to try something and luckily it paid off but even if it didn't he still had to do it and it was great vision by him to put it in.
