The Wallabies coach has said he is fine with him going

Sounds like Deans would have to pick him in a Wallaby team for at least 3 tests in the remainder of this year for them to stop him going. Deans is not like that.

It came out this week that he got a bee in his bonnet when Tahu chose not to play club rugby before the Italy test - so he dropped him from the Wallaby team.

The only reason this is not being fast tracked is because it has left the Waratahs in a disastrous position for 2010. Maybe they will learn that putting a gun player on the bench all season will not make him a happy camper. D!ckheads.

A bit like us putting Fui on the bench as well.

Not quite. NRL benchies get game time every match because of the interchange. NRL is a 17 man game.

In RU they have 7 on the bench and may not use 5 of them.

I think he has a hand injury at the moment, so he wouldn't be available for a while in any case

Hopefully the contract isn't huge. Good outside back but I would hate to think that his signing would hinder our development in future years.

Yes, and I hope he stays injury-free for the next three years. And I hope Osborne hasn`t gone after him because of his high profile and because it looks really good on paper and because it sounds like a great coup for Osborne and the club. If it works, that`s absolutely marvellous; but I`ll say it again - I think it`s a great big gamble.
