Time for Parra to relocate

Plasmas don't come in 55 inch dropkick. 50 inch? Yep. 58 inch? Indeed. If you're watching the footy on a 55 inch, that would be an LCD.

Just so you know btw, Parra Stadium was pretty much filled to capacity last Friday, albeit with a healthy number of Saints supoorters. I'm sure you're aware of who Saints are? You know - the same team who sodomised your team up at Suncorp a week before...

If any Sydney teams are going to be relocated, then the Sharks would go before the Eels ever would.

i am sitting here thinking your the dropkick

american dollars too. suck it up. how about an apology. very foolish of you.

I too would like for say cronulla or even the roosters to go before parra, but at this rate, who can be sure which'll happen first.

you had 20,000 fans or thereabouts there. not 50,000 and tickets were cheap. its pocket change mate.....9 million is a far greater sum, many, many times over.

sometimes, one would have loved rl to have come to melbourne first....

yes, sydney, the world class city that the majority of tourists in a recent survey said they would only visit once...

LOL!

come on sydney, you can do better than that.

"sometimes, one would have loved rl to have come to melbourne first...."

It didn't. Deal with it.

"yes, sydney, the world class city that the majority of tourists in a recent survey said they would only visit once..."

Much better than most other places in the world.

Jealous twit.

I stand corrected. Being in the large panel industry, I should have researched better before making that statement, and I will happily retract it.

But an apology? lol.

Frankly I couldn't give a flying f**k how big your telly (or anything else of yours for that matter) is, nor would you have any idea about my salary. Suffice to say US$11,000 doesn't begin to cover it.

I really couldn't give a sh*t about this whole Sydney vs Brisbane thing either, being a Kiwi, and your Sydney bashing and bignoting has contributed nothing to this thread.

I second Bluebag's motion regarding taking your dribble elsewhere.

Thanks.

And btw, sorry to make you feel so self concious.

I know its going to take a while for you to get over it and all.

Yes, you should research it better. I had a good laugh.

Carry on. You're doing well.

Its fun getting you going. I know you love it. Its like weights....dont try and compare yourself...just continue hard from where you are. Improvement is what matters.

Good on ya

indeed we are all entitled to our opinion. sometimes, you'll just have to admit it, my opinion counts a little more than yours.

In what way does your opinion count anymore than his?

your joke town, with joke teams.

barely anyone supports them, come on!

after the broncos, i'm starting to appreciate and enjoy afl, given the hopeless image of sydney teams.

Do these barely supported Sydney teams include the Dragins and Rabbitohs? It's only Parra and Cronulla who struggle to draw crowds.

And if you think AFL is looking good, you're quite free to ditch NRL and go watch fumbleball.

.
Except last year Parramatta's average was higher than saints, sharks, panthers, raiders, warriors, and storm and only 400 behind the roosters and 170 behind manly, yet you say only sharks and parra strugglr to draw crowds.
Lol, better check your facts mate:lol:

10-Sydney Roosters 13,970
11-Manly 13,694
12-Parramatta 13,528
14-Cronulla 12,965
15-St George Illawarra 12,596
16-Melbourne 12,474
17-Canberra 11,913
18-New Zealand 11,440
19-Penrith 10,899

I'm just saying, so far this year the Eels and Sharks have had dissapointing crowds, the Eels dissapointing compared to last year, with the exception of the Dragons game. The Sharks are just dissapointing full stop.

What are the numbers on the side supposed to mean?

you won't lose 100,000 of thousands of fans....rl doesnt have that many that care in sydney

oh btw...i think i've pulled back some 'credibility'

you guys know nothing.

i never said anything about your tv, i couldnt care less. why would you even mention it, who cares, we've all got big tvs these days. you havnt pulled back any credibility because of your ridiculous statements on rugby league which will never happen, and wont benefit the game at all. you clearly have no idea, id back my knowledge and vision for this sport over yours any day of the week. clueless w*nker!

:lol:dissapointing so far?
2 home games only and their average is over 15000 (thanks for the help SGI) but it is far from dissapointing.
The numbers on the side were from last years crowd thread where someone did the averages for NRL and ESL combined.

the sharks have been dissapointing, there is no doubting that. they need to work on getting more people to games, everybody seems to be opting for the easy option of just relocating them, which wont happen. we will expand, but not lose hundreds of thousands of supporters along the way.

Mate, I think you're taking it as a personal insult. It's not. I just made a general statement, and you've shown me the evidence to contradict that.

Perhaps it's a bit early in the year to be commenting on averages, because as you pointed out Parra have only had 2 home games, 1 against arguably the best travelling supporters team in the comp (that didn't make any sense, but I'm sure you know what I mean).

i suppose you lose a few teams for being hopeless.

your joke town, with joke teams.

barely anyone supports them, come on!

I'll give it to you that they are mildy supported, but nothing more. There's too many of them.

Parra is a disaster.

You need all the points you can get, because the reality is grim. and people laugh at you.

after the broncos, i'm starting to appreciate and enjoy afl, given the hopeless image of sydney teams.

its that bad....and look, everyone thinks so, apart from a few core supporters on these forums. You guys really need to wake up and go mainstream again. its a boutique sport in sydney. in boutique stadia usually, with old fashioned ideals, sorely out of place in this day and age.

the bulldogs recent sponsorship wrangle is evidence of this.....telstra have a contract and its all striaghtforward and the nrl can veto any sponsorship thats in breach, but they continue to have a whinge.

its all a big laugh.

You dont get any points for dying either mate...so crawl back into your corner.

FMD. Don't believe everything you read in the Courier mail son!

yawn...hey hutch?

your best bet is to shut up about this.

who cares about tv sizes.

if you will permit me, i only mentioned it because i was saying i had a good set up at home but you dont see me in front of the tv a lot and i attend games all the times, as a member.

thats all. Im not the one who brought it all about tv sizes.

anyone can buy one these days - yes....for 2 grand you can get a decent enough one. sure most people need a credit card for that or some form of finance, so what, do i care about any of that? if i wanted one i could go down tommorow.

and guess what, mines not that great....for instance its contrast ratio is around 1000:1 native, and newer ones have native 15000:1. and 30,000 dynamic. this is important for blacks and picture quality...not that there is anything truly wrong with mine.

but who cares, you must because you wrote about it a lot....me, i only mentioned it breifly b4 all this in relation to another topic. it was relevant

but now its not....so please lets move forward

i cant believe you are banging on about the crushers, they were a mess and a joke.

you need to lift your standards. in the end, they were so hopeless they admitted everyone in for free.

I was old enough to remember the bs that went on, were you? if you were, i pity you even more.

i agree with the sentiment tho, a 2nd team could come and be well supported - just let it be nothing like the SEQC's.

and the leagues club still stands, but it was losing money at several stages, and frankly to everyone i know, feels very much out of place.
