They want to get Fitzgerald back for the whole Lyon saga by trying to get Hindmarsh forcing 1 of 2 things to happen

a) they get Hindmarsh
b) Parra beat Manly's offer and go over the cap

If we put results on the board next year and be competitive, then we won't have to worry about bids from clubs like manly. Hindy won't want to leave if we give him a decent upgarde and he is the highest paid player at the club, but getting competitive as a team would be the most important thing.

Considering that Lyon didn't honour his contract with us BEACAUSE of Manly, I'm happy we screwed them.

Plus Hindmarsh said that, if he did leave, he wants to be in a competitive team again. That immediately rules Manly out.
