Now ther's a surprise... Hull fans praising Blacklock, shame you never did the same at the start of the year!!

I'm not criticising Blacklocks scoring ability... however his defence has got to be one of the poorest in super league.

Go on RLFANS.. and ask about Blacklock on the virtual forums.. they'll all tell you what a shocking defender he is!

He came over here with huge expactations and has not lived up to them.

Wingers such as Nick Bradley Quilama have scored 16 plus try's this season!!

Lesley Vainikolo..... 16 ty's in 7-8 games!

LIAS, no offence but in the game of rugby league, the key to a good defence revolves around what happens a little closer to the ruck.

The fascinating thing about blind ignorance is, you are anaesthetised against all opinions but your own. As they say, ignorance is bliss. Beat it chump.

btw, Gasnier sh*ts on Lyon.

Don't put the poor lad down, he's one of his I know it all rants. In the same world were St Helens are the best team in the world and can't be beaten (apart from when they play a team including a certain Nathan Blacklock).

You want an example of bad defending from any winger then look no further then St Helens Ade Gardner, he cost them the Challenge cup semi with his mistakes.

I have been to all the Hull home games this season and a fair few of the away games. The only time I can think Blacklock cost us a try was against Leeds in the opening day of the season were he left our side outnumbered on the wing and the other time was two weeks ago when he let a stand off come winger outpace him to score.

Apart from those mistakes he hasn't done anything to lose us a game, he has only done things to help us win games. Infact they are a few games were you could say if he hadn't have played we would have lost a few nail biters.

Its harsh to compare the attacking skills of wingers, especially when you think he has played Full back a few times this season. Take bradford for instance they have some big powerful guy on the wing and the guy is probably twice the size of any other winger in super league, they would be daft not to give him the ball (hence why he scores a lot).

Blacklock is a great player, nuff said.

Bless the poor little Saint. As has already been said Nathan is a hero at Hull. He has scored some excellent tries for us this season ESPECIALLY the one over 90 meters at the KC against the Saints. He imo is one of the best takers of a high ball in the game, as proved with his try against Saints.

As for the offence aimed at saint lyon please don't tie us all with the same brush.

Please pass on our best wishes to Besty . Is he likely to make the test squad after such a great season.?

I especially liked the little highlights package at the end with the tries. Cheers Hull, great to see Blacklock in full flight again.

No problem, we enjoy having him!!!

If anything we should be the ones saying thanks :D

Just one last shot from Nathan here, treating people in Cardiff to his trademark backflip.

As you can tell we've looked after him, he's known to love Hull fans but I'm sure there are one set of fans he probably likes better.

Most Hull fans also hate him..... i'd be ashamed if he ever wore the colours of my club!!

How many Hull fans have you actually asked? Do you know most Hull fans?

The number of fans who use the RL Fans forum is not exactly the largest sample to base your comments on is it? Even then it's a small % of those people who use that forum who have anything negative to say about Nathan. What they know about RL can be written on the back of a postage stamp anyway. I've said all year that he'll be a different player once he gets a decent centre alongside him.

Don't know if it's been mentioned in here yet, but a 12-man Hull side were beaten 71-0 yesterday by Bradford, after Stephen Kearney was controversially sent off for a high tackle only 7 minutes into the game.

Can't be helped! No one and i say NO ONE with 12 men can beat the Bulls

The was simply to good for us, but thats not to say we have finished the season on a down, we won the cup and we won our first ever superleague play-off game...

Something Shaun Mcrae & co never did!

That's a tough score line to cop though. Better luck next year Hull.

I must say though, even with 12 men, 71-0 is a disgraceful effort

You could say that but with the footy the Bulls are producing at the moment it would be hard for any team with 13 to beat them.

Tinghu had a quiet game game, although he did leave for 30 mins or so with a knock.

But like whats being said, would you rather win the Challenge cup in a state of the art stadium infront of 74,000 or win at odsal in a playoff game infront of 13,000 ?

It was gutting to see us lose but this year we have moved on from the Mr Pringle era and actually won something.
