I'm pretty consistent this year

Round 1 - 5/8
Round 2 - 5/8
Round 3 - 6/8
Round 4 - 5/8
Round 5 - 6/8
Round 6 - 6/8
Round 7 -5/6
Round 8 - 2/5
Round 9 - 4/6

44 out of 65

2nd in the top tipper.com competition pretty shocked when I realised that  trick seems to be doing your tips at the last minute ;-)

Well, for the first time in my NRL tipping (this is my first full year I've done tipping), I'm 7/7 after the conclusion of Sunday. I'll be shooting for my first perfect round tomorrow night, when the Knights take on the Eels (I tipped the Knghts).

Otherwise, I dunno what the score distributions are like, but before this round, I had 85.5

7/7 myself do far. I assume you picked Newcastle for tmrw Knights87... If so at least one of us will be getting a full round.

HAHAHA! Good luck for tomorrow night, EelsDude. Not only will one of us get a full round, but more importantly, I will go as far as saying that the loser of tomorrow night's match won't make the top 8. The winner will keep their top 8 aspirations alive. So, there's a lot at stake, EelsDude:lol: You guys just held on and took the cash in the Rd 3 Golden Point clash (should've won, but slipped up at the end):x I'm expecting tomorrow night's match to be another nailbiter, unlike the stroll in the park we had against Souths last week. Gidley better have his kicking boots on tomorrow, cause they certaintly weren't on last week.

Im leading my work tipping comp by four games. Im as nervous in finishing off as Tim Henman at Wimbledon.

Next round looks like an absolute nightmare to tip. I like the predictale rounds, as Im in front. Next week is a great round for people to try and catch up. Im in a Henman mood already.

hehhehe! You better not slip up from a 4 game lead. If you do, that'll be a bigger choke than the 1998 Preliminary Final vs Bulldogs:lol:

And yes, there are a few curly ones for next week. The table of two extremes: Manly vs Melbourne (Manly will 99% be certain of the minor premiership if they win this match. Who could forget the corresponding match at Brookvale Oval last year) and Bulldogs vs Cowboys (Battle of the wooden spoon).

What would be a good competition is if anyone can predict the crowd attendance for the Bulldogs/Cowboys match, especially as it is at Suncorp. Now, last year, when both sides were in hot form, this match only got 15,000 at Suncorp. Given the form of both sides currently, and all the injuries to key players from both sides, I'd say this game will be VERY lucky to get half of the amount that last year's match got. Either way or the other, it won't be a very good positive view for league, watching the game on tv with all those hordes and blocks of empty maroon and yellow seats. I wonder what David Gallop and co. will be thinking when they see that? (given the talk of all the empty seats at matches at ANZ Stadium).

Dragons v Tigers is iffy, canberra v penrith ditto. Im very afraid of choking like its 1998.

My mum is going to be kicking my ass soon in the home tipping comp. I was coming first however last week I got 5/8 and now I'm 5/7 for this week, tipping the Knights. Not bad, but my mum has 8/8 and 7/7 :fist:

Haha... I'm starting to think I should have picked Newcastle. That way if we lose, I can at least take some salvage in the fact I got a full round. If the Eels lose tomorrow, not only will I be angry because they lost, I'll also be angry that they cost me my first full round in years.

Should be a good game if Parra turn up, I reckon you'll get us but if the Eels put in a food performance, and we're due for one, the styles and match ups will be great.

Not to mention the good old Brian Smith vs Michael Hagan clash (Hagan leads so far, 8-6) and Brian Smith's 500th match as coach. This will be the first time Hagan steps foot at EnergyAustralia Stadium since he left the Knights, so he'll be bound to get the bronx cheer from the crowd (after everything he did to the Knights post-2001).

I don't think the coaches clash means as much as it could, it'd be good if they came out and said they hated each other so at least the media would build it up as some sort of event. I get the impression Smith would at least be personally fired up for something like this, even if he doesn't say so, while Hagan couldn't give a stuff. Smith at Newcastle vs Hagan at Parra, probably equals his constant firing up for matches between Smith's Eels vs Bennett's Broncos. Congrats on 500 games to him do, doesn't get enough credit for an achievement.

It looks like the Newcastle/Parramatta match tomorrow is shaping up as 'the match of the round'.

Oztip had a tipping comp? Didn't know that.

The only ones I'm in are: WWOS (ninemsn), NRL.com and Fox Sports.

I tend to agree. I tipped Newcastle, but I have a bad gut feeling about this one.
