It's on Phillip st but you go in opposite direction of the Greek at the T intersection so you turn left not right. You walk past the car park and it is on the right. If get a chance try it.
@Suitman, on the ground floor of the Octogon building so up past Smith St on the right.
It is reportedly the "world's best Indian chain of restaurants" and although they have some pretty good crowds, an Indian vegetarian employee of mine would never eat there, even though the office was across the road.

I went there when it first opened with some indian colleagues (I work in IT so you know, I just go with the majority).... I thought it was pretty average, but they were all raving about it....

O/T, I've never been able to understand why Chinese people always want to go and eat Chinese, Vietnamese want to go Vietnamese, Indian's want Indian etc etc... Like I can't remember a Chinese or Vietnamese colleague ever suggesting going to an Italian or Greek place for a meal out....it's always Hokka Hokka or Pho Poop or some shit like that....

Are you sure that's not a cost related reason rather then quality of food?

Yes. I dislike eating foods I can cook. Prefer going out for stuff I'd never have at home.

Was he from the South of India by any chance? A friend of mine was the same, She reckoned she could cook better than Sarvana Bhavan.

They tend to order different stuff than us whities would but 100%. If we’re not at a Chinese restaurant then my in-laws just complain about quality (laughable compared to some of the Chinese restaurants we’ve been to) or price.

I can't wait for that parramatta Penrith game in a few weeks.

30k parra fans screaming for blood I hope we turn it into a cauldron like QLD do for origin and absolute give it too Penrith verbally and physically. Similar to the Semi Final against Brisbane and opening day.

They can't handle the heat when it turned the other way. And we can beat the pricks as well.

Plus after last year we owe them a few.

We need to go all out now for someone. Surely we can find a guy who can play on our bench. Lodge would of been great but there are other options out there I am sure.
I can't see us doing anything with this bench.

Getting to my first game there in couple of weeks time (v panthers). Staying at hotel near by and wondering best place for beers before and after game, and and any good eating places near the stadium? Cheers.

Go early

Have a drink at Nick and Nora's. They do sell beers, but it is more a cocktail or whisky bar. It is about 10 mins walk away, but for a one off occassion it is worth it.

For food, eat anywhere. Lots of great food in Parramatta - maybe find someplace between N&Ns and the stadium.

Enjoy the game - tremendous venue and the atmosphere should be pumping for Eels Pennies

There will be a few thousand Ruff fans there at least
If we lose to the Ponys on Thursday, id say a thousand or two Parra fans wont bother coming

Ill be there.
Might have a feed at Temasak before hand, in George St
Best asian food in Parra IMO
