I usually get a pie and chips at the ground. Delicious.
Are you participating in PYPOON?

@Suitman, on the ground floor of the Octogon building so up past Smith St on the right. It's on Phillip st but you go in opposite direction of the Greek at the T intersection so you turn left not right. You walk past the car park and it is on the right. If get a chance try it.
I went there when it first opened with some indian colleagues (I work in IT so you know, I just go with the majority).... I thought it was pretty average, but they were all raving about it....@Suitman, on the ground floor of the Octogon building so up past Smith St on the right.
It is reportedly the "world's best Indian chain of restaurants" and although they have some pretty good crowds, an Indian vegetarian employee of mine would never eat there, even though the office was across the road.

O/T, I've never been able to understand why Chinese people always want to go and eat Chinese, Vietnamese want to go Vietnamese, Indian's want Indian etc etc... Like I can't remember a Chinese or Vietnamese colleague ever suggesting going to an Italian or Greek place for a meal out....it's always Hokka Hokka or Pho Poop or some shit like that....
Mate, I was shouting and no one in my team has ever had an issue with picking an expensive restaurant when the boss is paying. Are you sure that's not a cost related reason rather then quality of food?
I’m not sure what it is. Something about making or eating pies? Are you participating in PYPOON?
Its a South Indian(Tamil) chain with over a 100 restaurants around the world.Yes they are very good aren't they. The Indian is worth a try as its a very different menu compared to your standard INDIAN restruant.
Was he from the South of India by any chance? A friend of mine was the same, She reckoned she could cook better than Sarvana Bhavan.@Suitman, on the ground floor of the Octogon building so up past Smith St on the right.

They tend to order different stuff than us whities would but 100%. If we’re not at a Chinese restaurant then my in-laws just complain about quality (laughable compared to some of the Chinese restaurants we’ve been to) or price.I went there when it first opened with some indian colleagues (I work in IT so you know, I just go with the majority).... Getting to my first game there in couple of weeks time (v panthers). Staying at hotel near by and wondering best place for beers before and after game, and and any good eating places near the stadium? Cheers.
I can't wait for that parramatta Penrith game in a few weeks.
30k parra fans screaming for blood I hope we turn it into a cauldron like QLD do for origin and absolute give it too Penrith verbally and physically. Similar to the Semi Final against Brisbane and opening day.
They can't handle the heat when it turned the other way. And we can beat the pricks as well.
Plus after last year we owe them a few.
