that's true actually, I watched them when they played the Raiders, Raiders were simply atrocious and had nothing in attack, the Cowboys game was an embarrassment to the code

Correct. Their other 3 wins have been utterly disgusting displays of Rugby League from both teams involved.

Cartwright coaches the most boring style of rugby league imaginable if he coaches at all, that was Henry in the sheds at halftime preaching the new style. Sezer goes out and bits player Blair shows him how to get the ball into the backs. Selection has been a huge issue in our club with Cartwright generally getting it wrong.

The last time a team led the comp with a negative F/A was 1953 .... lol but who cares.

Not sure if the Storm game was on FTA, but I watched the Tigers game when we got thrashed & the channel 9 commentators were about as apathetic towards the Titans as the people in this forum. Before one Tigers try there was acknowledged knock on and all the commentators did a little groan and then fell silent for 6-7 seconds before continuing as though nothing happened.

Why is everyone so up in arms about this? They've won the most amount of games so they deserve to be up the top of the ladder.

If they're really that average they'll get found out soon enough anyway.

The difference for the Titans this year has been Albert Kelly. He is the most opportunistic half I've seen since Jamie Soward back in 2010.

You simply can't provide him with any sort of opportunity, be it a broken defensive line, dropped ball or an intercept chance.

He just always seems to be in the right place when an opposition play breaks down and 99 times out of 100 he turns this into points. He would have to be one of the quickest players over 20 metres in the competition and he knows that if he can't finish the play himself, then all he need do is find his way to either of his wingers before his afterburners run out. The two Titans wingers have some serious wheels.

This will only improve for them once James Roberts injury improves and he gets some game time there.

Mind you i had not picked a winner until that game, and i picked the Tigs as well.

The Titans are a very good team. They had Seizer out as well, who i rate highly.

Anthony DON is Ron Willey's nephew and played his junior footy for the Grafton Ghosts. He has been in and out of the team for the last year but is steadily improving. His biggest problem is David Mead who can't seem to knock Cartwright's surrogate son William "Total Package, Vice Captain, 5 year contract" Zillman out of the FB jersey. He's a PE teacher.

We are just as inconsistent as any other club in the comp right now. Over the past year or so our squad has shown we can definitely match it with the top teams but the ability to do it week in week out is our biggest problem.

Panthers gave the Roosters a centre last year and they won the comp. Panthers gave the Tits a centre this year and they are leading.

I don't get the titans Cartwright hate - he had to build a side from scratch , which he did a very good job at - he got them to the top four two years in a row including a GF qualifier within the first few years. He then won a spoon which would be expected of any new side , but after that spoon he has got the side to improve each year which is a good effort considering they have rookie halves and not the greatest fullback / hooker combo.

Good luck to the titans, they have been the most consistent side so far


PS - if the refs didn't stuff up against manly the eels would be equal first

eels are definately the weak link in the top 8, imo.
lucky to win last friday, i dont think sandow, hayne, and ma'u will get you to the finals

Not a keeper in Fantasy as Cartwright will sadly get rid of him when he brings Zillman back ... no he's a Blue although stranger things happened :sarcasm:
