Depth is a concern.

Did Ryles do the right thing getting rid of a lot of first grade experience last year?

Perhaps it is short term pain for long term gain but right now we have less depth than most sides.

Joash at fullback is a worry. Get well soon Iongi!

Problem is he can’t recruit anyone above average and under 40 years of age.

I heard it was pisstakeitis.

I know he's earned his reputation, given his behaviour.

I feel bad for him only for the concussion - it was a dog act, and it might end his career.

Total cheap shot from Kaufusi.

I wish we had a Gareth Hock/Adrian Morley-type in our squad, that would have smashed the absolute shit out of Kaufusi at the next opportunity...

Btw, Matto does a lot of charity work for Heroes With Ability - a great organisation.

I have a cousin (massive Eels fan) who frequents the organisation, and often sees Matterson volunteering there.

Apparently, he's still displaying neurological symptoms, such as migraines, blurred vision, and difficulty concentrating.

I know he's not beloved, and that's fair - but for him to end his career because of a total dog shot is just shit.

"Vastly" ?......you sure of that?
Moses vs Doueihi.

NSW Origin winning halfback hero and Kangaroo superstar now in the peak years of halfback chicanery up against a 190cm lumbering crock who almost got cut from the squad.

Breakout Scum junior star astutely purchased by NRL owned Broncos with an eye to filling in Reynold's boots, early in his career with so much promise up against a guy whose name is not even hyperlinked on the NRL website. 33 first grade games over 6 years as backup at 3 clubs at age 26 he's ready for super league.

The gulf is vast...on paper.

Of course just like every year in state of origin paper records versus turning up for that one marquee game of your life are two different things, at times the difference is vast.

Agreed.

I'd love to see Matto and his big rig back at the end of the year just in time to take us to our prelim.

That sucks for him but why isn’t he already medically retired??? It’s utterly ridiculous.

He still insisted on an extra year with the Storm in his favour during the Lomax saga.

It’s a real shame in regards to matterson’s circumstances, doubt he’ll play again, and certainly not in Parra colours, unfortunately he absolutely lost me when he dogged his mates and fans sitting on the sidelines for however long, for 3 pissy k….I believe that will b he’s legacy no matter what stance he was trying to make, it was appalling…..to make things so much worse our disgusting management and coach let him, showing the have piss flaps instead of ball.

I went to same school as terry mattetson growing up in same surroundings, Auburn , Lidcombe a good family, on a side note I knocked around with mattos mum at the time she was a very funny girl and had a few laughs, take me back….😔

I get the feeling its the similar scoreline to last years Easter game. The defence is still a worry and I expect the Tigers to target Joash with the high ball and kicks in the in goal, and also the big forwards against Pezet and Tuilagi. Unless they really work on their tackling and mark up defence, I expect a 36 32 scoreline
