It's taken the Dogs 3 seasons to get to where they currently are.
This isn't going to happen overnight, let alone this season.
So we should go out and buy 4 bench utilities?
I'd argue that its not that much of a similar situation. The squad Ryles took over, while aging, is stronger than the generational mediocrity that Ciraldo inherited when he started at the Dogs. Having Moses, the incumbent NSW and Australian halfback, proves that alone. Ryles' detonation of our roster in my view has been pre-emptive, embracing short term pain for long term success.
I agree it will at least take a season, but I do believe that with a few smart signings for next season, coupled with all our rookies having an extra season of experience, we can be in a pretty good position for 2026.
