TNA iMPACT Video Game Preview!

They made a game called WWF Wrestlemania - The Arcade Game which was a bit souped up beyond the wrestling aspect. Fortunately, EVERY report that has been made about IMPACT! has stated the obvious that this game is as far removed from that game as possible.......it's been 10 years or more, they've moved on from Mortal Kombat hybrids

I haven't got it, but I reckon I will though.

I got it and I like it so far. Granted I haven't played it much (my dog got hit by a car and died ) but from what ive played i like it. I dont like the small amount of moves and i couldnt perform a finisher but i'll put that down to being a n00b

The story mode sounded terrible to me but I actually like it and made a pretty cool caw who looks like vampiro

the reversing is horrible

you can reverse everymove and can get really annoying :crazy:

tag team wrestlers dont come out togetehr and theres no full entrances

lack of moves for the wrestlers was a real concern too

But it CAN'T suck - it has Kurt friggin' Angle, Booker T sucka, Christian The Instant Classic Cage, The Phenomenal AJ Styles...

TBH, I don't mind the game. It is a change from SVR series, plus most of the caws i make in the SVR are TNA wrestlers.

I don't really care about the entrances, because for me why have an entrance in a game like undertakers, which goes longer than a match. Plus i only look at the entrances once, and then i get bored of them.

Just a question on the game, how do you do a finisher? I know you have to get them in a standing lockup, but everytime i do it they do a grapple move. This is for PS3

the sell was the alt to WWF DOWNUNDER right ??

yeh wna started of well in 99-02 ,than it got reall crappy
i started to post again on wna about 6 months back and seemed to have got a little better

you need to pick them up at the head and hope they dont counter u which they will 99.9999999999999999% of the time :lol: than if u do somehow manage to pick him up cleanly with no reserveing press your action button (which i think is circle on ps3 ,though i dont have one so im going off ps2 controls )

TNA has released 3 new downloadable charicters for the X-Box. They are former X-Division Champion "Maple Leaf Muscle" Petey Williams, Curry Man, and Mike Tenay. The first two require a set number of points or wins to unlock the charicters for download, whereas Tenay is available unrestricted.

Haha, I saw this exact stuff up detailed on the Rajah forums......Midway REALLY dropped the ball here, I'm one of the biggest supporters of anything associated with TNA but the game is a CHORE to play. I guess two player matches would be much more fun.
